Ive seen some bad places before, but this was just plain ridiculous. A laughable bar, which is very sad since around a year ago it used to be great, but it has been downhill ever since. Very laid back and the staff is friendly and eager to make you feel welcome. The menu doesn't offer many selections but the quality of what they have is above and beyond what you would expect. I had the philly cheesesteak...it changed my life. And the fries are yummy. I heard they have 16oz steak mondays but I haven't made it out there on a monday yet. Good variety of drafts here too if you're a beer drinker. An all around great place to unwind and meet new people. NAME: AceManly SUBMITTED: 5/31/2007   LAST VISIT WAS: 05/07 FREQUENCY: Visited 4-6 times MY REVIEW: This was our first visit. It was also our last. The service was just plain bad. A friend and I joined two friends on the patio. The waitress, was too busy visiting with her friends and smoking to wait on us. It took us over half an hour to get two beers and the menu. Another half hour went by before the waitress took our order. Also, the waitress put our food on my friend's tab, after being instructed not to, before we ever got the food. Once we got our food we asked for another round and it never appeared. After asking about 3 times during which we finished our food with no beverages, we gave up and just decided to settle up and get out. Despite saying I was paying cash, the waitress ran the bill on my card. Imagine my surprise when I found out she charged me for the second round that we never got. She then proceeded to argue with me that she HAD brought me those last two beers and then said that "she wasn't the one drinking" and she knows she brought me those two beers. When I asked for the manager, she told me she was the manager. Another woman, who didn't identify herself, tried to help me sort it out. I did eventually get the two beers removed from my tab, after much arguing. This was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had. If you insist on going there, be sure to check your bill closely! It's not a place we'd drive across town to eat at but it's certainly a welcome addition to the Heights area. They serve a good, solid bar burger, though the fries tend toward limp and greasy. In addition to the usual bar fare and above-average salads, they have a few more adventurous items on the menu such as muffulettas, gyros and Greek-style kebabs. We've always received great service and they have a nice patio out front for those not-too-hot days. Check 'em out!
