MY REVIEW: I had the milk tea. I didn't taste much tea. I requested no tapioca and "not too sweet", but it was still much too sugary.

MY REVIEW: I go there often, well, not because that place is really good, it's because they are close to my house. Stinky tofu is hard to find, but they have it, I like stinky tofu a lot, other things on the menu are ok. I hope they can keep that place a bit tidier and cleaner.

MY REVIEW: This place has the best Chinese food in Sugar Land. Things I like here are: chicken nuggets, beef/tomato noodle soup, seafood udon, and pork chop rice. The pearl milk tea is okay. The taro drink and the red bean drink are absolutely awful. They have an aftertaste similar to the smell of an old fish tank. If you really want to get a drink here, get the milk tea or the jelly drink.

MY REVIEW: I go there sometimes for their bubble tea. You never know what you'll get, sometimes the bubbles are chewy and fresh, but sometimes they are too firm or too mushy, the tea can be too sweet or too watery. Uh, I don't really enjoy the service there either. They should do something about it.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: covenient location, they are located in Sugar Land, so if you want some Chinese food, you don't have to go to China Town in Bellaire.

Weak Points: I hope they can improve their service, people who work there are not very friendly, they never smile at you or even say hi to you when you walk in there. They just stare at you like you are really annoying. I agree that is quite rude.

Specialities: Taiwanese style Chinese food, so it is a bit different from the Chinese food you might have in other more well know Chinese restaurant, so they don't have orange chicken or brocolli beef that kind of thing.

Desserts: They have some Taiwanese desserts, but I have am not sure what they are, so no comment on the desserts.

MY REVIEW: Their food is ok, nothing particularly impressive, if you are also Taiwanese, I think you'll agree, but because there aren't many authentic Taiwanese restaurant around here, so I guess I'll keep going back there once a while. I can understand why their kitchen smell funny, because there is a Taiwanese dish calles stinky tofu. It is like old fermented tofu. It might sound gross to people who have never tried it, but I've have that dish since I was a kid, so I am used to it. I am not very satisfied about their service, one of the waitress is rude. I hope next time when I go there I won't see her.

MY REVIEW: On your first impression, you'll notice that the place smells funny, but come on, they cook all sorts of asian dishes there (fish, etc.) We've only gone there for one thing and that's the tapioca tea and it's wonderful. My husband loves the Strawberry and I love the plain tapioca milk tea. It's so inexpensive and they make it so perfect! We've been to some places that over-charge, add too much ice, not enough or the tapioca pears are soggy. Not at Coco's. They're just right. I highly recommend. We drive the 7 miles when we have a craving. Don't settle!

MY REVIEW: Strong Points: Very VERY low prices, high quality food, quick service, large selection.

Weak Points: A lot of the specialty items are in chinese, so you have to either be proficient in the language or be really good at guessing ingredients. Not very much room for seating. Quickly fills up at peak hours.

I strongly suggest this place if you have a hankering for good soup or authentic Chinese dishes. The portions are HUGE ( I eat a ton of food and I can't finish a bowl of their soup ), and always made fresh. They make their tapioca (Bubble) milk tea perfect, it's not too sweet and the pearls aren't mushy, nor is there a ton of ice.

The best dessert there is shaved ice, and you can put anything on it from sweet tofu to sweet bean paste (anko). It's to die for.

The one thing I don't suggest is their dumplings; They tend to be overdone and slightly too vinegary, but that could very well be a personal preference.

If I had to suggest a dish that everyone should try; The Beef and Tomato noodle soup. The beef it comes with is fatty, but if you take it out, cool it off, and pick the meat out, it's very tender and juicy, and the soup itself is delicious. The udon noodles in it are always cooked to perfection. The best thing about this? A massive bowl of soup and a bubble tea costs only $6.75!
