Where else is the bread baked on premises? The special and the barbaque pork Vietnamese subways are only $2 -- and freshly made after you order. The bread is flaky and the different meats are tasty. The pickled veggies are very fresh. The pate chaud -- 2 different types filled with a meatball -- are baked there also. We like the spring rolls and winter rolls, too. There are too many other things to try...stop by and visit...because once you do, you'll be coming back!!! MY REVIEW: Strong points are all of their food items. they have vietnamese sandwiches, fresh baguettes, croissants, vietnamese meat pies, vietnamese desserts, banana wrapped rice cakes, sweet coconut rice and prepared fast food. the only weak point is the location. they are located inside the hong kong mall and i hate going to there because of the traffic on bellaire. But the food is so good that I don't care about the traffic. I go once a week. they don't know my name because they don't speak that much english nor do they care about customer service. they just want to make your sandwich and get you out because they are so busy!
