MY REVIEW: Today the service sucked. We were ignored, no tea or water refill. After ordering our food, four tables were seated and received their food before our table of 3 did. Over a 30 minute wait between ordering off of the lunch menu and delivery of the food. We will not be back!!!

MY REVIEW: I live in the neighborhood and I eat there frequently. The in general the food is good and many of the entrees are exceptional. I also work in the area and visit sometimes during lunch. The lunch time service is not so great, but the food is worth the wait. This is a nice place

MY REVIEW: Just because the owners are nice doesn't mean it's great food. Also, just because you throw Tony Chacheres on everything doesn't make it cajun.
Fried foods & Gumbo were horrible! The gumbo looked and tasted like it came out of a can. The stuffed jalapenos were soft, shouldn't fried be crispy? The fries were limp as well. I love spicy, but the catfish had so much thrown into the batter, that it was a sodium time bomb. Also a lot was thrown on the limp fries.
Even though we were literally the only ones in there eating, the waitress was hanging out in the back talking to co-workers when we wanted our check to get out of here.
If you want meager food, but good portions at a reasonable price, then this is for you. Otherwise, Popeyes is a lot better and Papadeux's is just down the street.

MY REVIEW: I ordered blacken Tilapia with Pontchartrain sauce and my husband had the blacken Catfish with Etoufee sauce. They both are excellent. The entree come with bread and salad. The price is very reasonable and the service are very attentive. The only disappointment is the crab cake appetizer. It is not worth the money. We will definite go back.

MY REVIEW: I think this is a great place to eat. The food is great the service is great and the owners are very nice people. It is also a great place for happy hour and to watch any sporting events that might be on television. There are several LCD screens to watch while you are eating or having a drink. On Friday and Saturday night there is a DJ and Karaoke and they stay open til 2AM. Overall I think it is a great place. Don't take my word for!! Try it yourself.

MY REVIEW: Its okay. Service is just average. The first time went the food was really fresh and everything was good. The second time. The gumbo was cold and had a slightly burnt taste and several of our tables fried dishes were overcooked. Still early...so they are probably still making adjustments.

MY REVIEW: The food here is fantastic. I live in Katy and still drive out to this place on a regular basis. Their rice is just spicy enough to make your eyebrows sweat. Staff is pleasant and friendly as well as the owner who came over to our table to see how things were. Also they have really good happy hour specials. Better than all the other cajun restaurants I've dined at in Houston.

MY REVIEW: We've been 3 times, so have tried a variety of things. We received good service every time. The fried foods were only average but everything else was top notch. We will continue to go.

MY REVIEW: The seafood is great. The owners have their own boat so it is very fresh. On our first visit, my family was so impressed, my son-in-law who lives in Midtown said he would drive to this restaurant for seafood over the other choices in Houston. On the second visit, they over cooked the fried shrimp but on the third visit they did a great job. I guess they are trying to get things right. Their service is a little on the average. When I go to eat and pay my tip to the waiter/waitress, I feel like I need to have special attention. Maybe that will get better also. We are waiting to see if they will play our Houston Astros all of their gametimes on the big screen tv's. They will certainly get our business again.
