MY REVIEW: Plus is some of the best chicken on this side of I-10 &610. Family friendly place. Prices are quit ressonable, considering the economy. When in town Plus is a reg. choice. Friends request me to stop on the way. Decor can use a lil sprucing up though! Overall The Plus is a hidden treasure.

MY REVIEW: Chicken Plus is the best. I live quit a distance from N. Wayside but somehow I end up there several times a week. I've never walked away dissatisfied with the quality of the chicken or fries. Oh and those fries with seasoning hmmmmmm sooo good. Love that Chicken from "Chicken Plus".

MY REVIEW: My son asked me on yesterday "mom can we eat chicken plus"...so that will be our dinner tonight!!! I love their chicken. I'm never not satisfied with our meals when we go there. YES they serve their food on a "boat in a brown paper bag" & it's NOT "Hood", it's ORIGINAL!!! So... We are having our chicken plus for dinner, in a boat & brown paper bag & we're gonna love it!!! Lol... oh and if you're gonna eat there take CASH because that's the only method of payment that they take!

MY REVIEW: The chicken wings were good, although not the best I've had, and the customer service was excellent. However, I did not like the fact that my rice & gravy was put in a paper boat and my chicken placed on top of it. I thought that was "hood" and then I had to scrape the gravy off the paper. You have to take the chicken off the top in order to eat the meal. It would have been better if the rice was in a cup and the meal put in a box instead of a brown paper bag.

MY REVIEW: Chicken plus is better than home fried chicken to me. I always order the five piece wings and extra seasoning on my fries. Customer service is wonderful. I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work.

MY REVIEW: I like to patronize local entrepreneurs rather than the chains and I've eaten at both of these locations. The N. Wayside location is pretty much a dive, the Rankin Rd. location is in a very new, big Texaco station and shares space with a S*ubway. The people at both locations are super friendly and courteous.
The chicken is good although it can be a bit greasy. I've gotten it both times right out of the fryers so it needed some time to drain perhaps. They don't have greens on the menu but there is a vegetable of the day, fried okra, red beans, rice and sausage, dirty rice and rice and gravy. They also do burgers and fish and po'boys. The small iced cakes offered for deserts - they look like small bundt cakes but are regular cake batter - are good, too.
I wish they'd put one of these out on my side of town because it's a very long drive.

MY REVIEW: Chicken Plus is hands down the best fried chicken wings in Houston. I will travel across town to get a taste of them. I had a party last week and EVERYONE ask where did you get those wings? They are truly the bomb, the service is good and the prices are great!

MY REVIEW: As the story goes, "Don't judge a book by it's cover". Chicken plus has the absolute best chicken wings that i have eaten in Houston. It may not be the most cosmetic establishment in the greater houston area, but the taste of their chicken conquers all.
