MY REVIEW: What a disappointment. Everyone felt rushed including another guest whom echoed the same feelings in the restroom. The cab on the menu says it's from Napa...it is from Lake County. It was hot and acidy...I had to tell the waiter to leave the cork off...he asked if I wanted it chilled...no thank you...let it breathe...and keep it at the proper tempature. Sushi looked promising but after ordering it the waiter started to bring our soups and salads. The sushi is ordered from another restaurant "down the hall" in the strip plaza. It came after the chef had already started cooking...it did not look good and was combined on the same plate which another party had ordered from across the table...sent it back. The chef was a nice guy from Guatamala but the performance was okay; the food was standard fare and the lobsters a little flat. My 12 year old loved it but after being stared down by the bar manager for returning the sushi, the "rush" atmosphere and reservations at 1730, the table light was on us as we were literally forced from the place...no call for desert...although my son's birthday cheesecake was probably the best thing in the joint. If you are dying for an overpriced Japanese steak house in a strip plaza and want to feel like you are slowing down the restaurant, come on over and ask for the Guatemalan.

MY REVIEW: Excellent Teppan-Yaki food cooked at your table by a skilled and entertaining chef. If you don't like the crowds at the more well known B-H chain, then you will find this even more appealing. I believe after 3 impressive visits that Tokyo Steakhouse is the best restaurant of this genre in Houston. The steak and lobster combo is a favorite. The fried rice is also a treat and a must-order addition. Attentive staff and very nice interior.

MY REVIEW: A very pretty decor, good service, and excellent food. On my first visit, I had the NY Strip steak and chicken hibachi style dinner, and it was excellent. On my 2nd visit, I had their filet mignon. It was probably the most tender steak I've ever eaten. It's an excellent restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

MY REVIEW: Great bar as you walk in with huge flat screen TV. Good music and lighting make for a great setting. The food is incredible and the management treats you like family. What else could you ask for?
