MY REVIEW: My wife and I have been eating at Chef Chan's for over a decade. We have never had a bad meal. The staff are fantastic. My favorite's are Chef Chan's beef, Happy Family, Pork in Garlic Sauce. My wife loves the steamed dishes, the stir fried green beans and their Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. It is a great family place with good food and great prices.

MY REVIEW: The ambience was fair. We got the impression that there was a unsettling busyness that was not conducive to a relaxing dinner. I ordered duck but received something like a Mongolian Beef. The Wonton Soup was very salty. I wont go back ever again. The icing on the cake was the music being payed during dinner was like a John Philip Susa march. Sorry, cannot recommend.

MY REVIEW: The quickness of their home delivery is almost scary, considering the quality of the food is exceptional, and I eat everywhere. Even when dining at the restaurant, the atmosphere is quiet and the food comes out so quick I'm always astonished. My favorite dishes are the subgum lo mein, packed with chicken, shrimp, beef, mushrooms, snowpeas and great sauce. I also love any scallop dish, the scallops cooked to perfection everytime. My boys love the orange chicken and the beef in all the dishes is so tender. You simply can't go wrong here. The dishes are loaded with the good stuff and I'll pay the price for that everytime. Not the greatest atmosphere for the total dining experience, but there's never a wait and you can't beat the home delivery. Thanks for being here Chef Chan's!

MY REVIEW: The food is great. We order from work almost once a week and it is consistent every time. I took my family there to eat in twice. The food again was great, but the service sucked. I guess it is the owner or whoever, doesn't acknowledge you and just points to the dining room. The waiters treat you like you are the one's who don't understand english. I will just call it in and pick it up next time. It is not worth eating out if you don't receive any kind of good service. Again, the food is wonderful, the service is not.

MY REVIEW: Willing to try it again, but the first time was a sad disappointment. Ordered the beef with vegetables. Overcooked vegetables in a sticky brown sauce. Yuck. Especially after hearing rave reviews. Maybe luckier next time. In search of authentic Chinese cuisine near the Woodlands.....sigh...

MY REVIEW: THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CHINESE FOOD YOU WILL EAT IN OR AROUND HOUSTON. NO BUFFET, EVERYTHING IS FRESH AND PREPARED TO YOUR LIKENESS. THEY REMEMBER EVERYONE AND THIER ORDER IF U COME IN MORE THAN ONCE. THERE IS ALWAYS A WARMNESS WITH THIER ATTUTIUDE AND A STRIVE FOR PERFECT FOR THE SERVICE. AND IT IS THE SAME FOR BOTH LOCATIONS. I COULD EAT THERE EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK DUE TO THE VARIETY OF ALL MY FAVORITES. I LOVE THE CRAB CHEESE PUFFS AND SPICEY TANGY GREEN BEANS. THOSE ARE MY FAVORITE AND ALL OF THE CHEF CHAN SPECIALITIES. WHEN I ENTERTAIN AT HOME I ORDER DELIVERY AND IT IS QUICK AND FRESH.

MY REVIEW: I was suprised to see a lack of reviews on this site so I thought I would add one. This is a very nice, almost elegant (especially at night) resturant with polished service and appearances. The food is top notch (there is no buffet, thank you very much) and everything is cooked perfectly. It is always one of the resturants I take out of town friends and clients to when they visit, and it is easily the best chinese food in a large radius. You won't regret trying it.
