MY REVIEW: I took my stepdaughter there to look at their wedding cakes. The cakes that we were shown would have been fabulous in the 80s. They were very outdated, and to be honest, ugly. The lady had my daughter fill out the forms with the kinds of cakes that that she wanted to taste, and we had an appointment to come in on a Sunday afternoon to taste test. Well, when we went, even though there were cars in the parking lot, the store was locked up closed! We called the number that we were given and no one answered. They never called to say that we needed to reschedule or anything. In short, I DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend them just based on our one experience. If you can't depend on them to do something as simple as a cake testing right, do you really want to trust them to do your cake right?

MY REVIEW: I ordered my wedding cake from Kens and what a mistake that turned out to be. The cake was 5 hours late to be deliverd to my reception and when it got there it was uneven and leaning. It was such an ugly cake nothing like what was displayed in the store. when i tried to contact them later about this they refused to return any of my 10 calls or the email i sent with a pic. I also went up there in person. When i finally called and got a manager she never even said she was sorry and refused to do anything about it. now i decided to write a review warning other people from going through what i noticed 2 other reviews both bad and 1 with almost the same exact problem as mine. if your spending 100's of dollars on your cake it should look good.

MY REVIEW: I visited Ken's Bakery to check out cakes for my Bridal Shower. Everything looked so nice and even tasted great! I even ordered my wedding cakes from Ken's. When I got to my reception I was ticked!!! The Wedding cake was uneven and looked funny- I took pictures to show them so they could see how bad they looked. The Grooms cake was supposed to be a square cheese cake, double decker with tuxedo strawberries on tops and around the bottom- the grooms cake was round and the strawberries were awful! When we called to let Ken's Bakery know about the cake and to show the pictures they refused to even talk about it and never returned any more calls after 9 attempts to contact them- We will never use Ken's Bakery to order a cake again......

MY REVIEW: I had visited Ken's a few times before ordering my wedding cakes from them. I was pleased by the taste of the food so I ordered my cakes and that turned out to be a BIG mistake. When I got to my reception and saw the cakes I was almost in tears. The fondant ribbons and bows that I ordered had turned into real white ribbon. The tuxedo topped Texas shaped grooms cake turned into a plain brown cake with rope and some kind of wheat on it. Then to top it off the tuxedo strawberries I ordered to be around the grooms cake were on this other cake, which I don't know where that came from, and they were dripping down the cake. The strawberries looked rotten and they weren't even tuxedoes they were just white and brown chocolate. No bow tie or buttons like they're supposed to be. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.
