MY REVIEW: I just tried this place today. I always forget about it because you can't see it very well from the street.

I got the Tuesday special which was red beans and rice with sausage and corn bread. With a drink it was less than $10. It was VERY good. I did have to add some Tabasco but then again I love hot, spicy foods. They have to cater to the norm here- and I'm probably not it. The corn bread was GREAT and had an entire layer of cheese in it.

I would for sure go back - does get crowded and there is a weird line of people waiting for their food by the drinks. So it's hard to get in there and get refills.

MY REVIEW: I go to Tommy's at least 4 times a week for breakfast & lunch. The service is great, everyone is friendly & the food is wonderful. This is a place where you get what you pay for even if it means waiting a few minutes to get fresh food. It's worth it. Today I have to rave about their Chicken w/vegetables soup...I've had it for the first time today - it's awesome & tasted fresh. I was leary about getting it thinking it might be heated canned soup so the young lady gave me a sample. WOW! This place is far better than A*lonti's.

MY REVIEW: I don't agree with most of the comments below. Any restaurant that serves good food that is freshly made with fresh ingredients, is going to take a few more minutes than the average fast food joint. My experience here is really good food and very nice people. I don't mind a few minutes of wait for good quality. And to all the cheap skates... stop crying about it, go to M*cDonald's and get your greasy cheeseburger. You get what you pay for.

MY REVIEW: I agree with a comment at the bottom from Sharmyka Vaughn, the man who answers the phone is rude. My company orders from Tommy's ALL the time and for him to snap at me on the phone and be down right rude... that is why I have not ordered from them since January. He makes you feel like you are getting in his way.

Their food is pretty OK. I'm a vegetarian (I have issues with modern day factory farming), so my menu choices are a bit narrower. I usually eat the Veggie Burger with fries or a fruit cup.

MY REVIEW: Everyone here doesn't know my name, first off.

I agree that order fulfillment takes entirely too long. And the majority of those waiting for food are forced to wait in the area reserved for sides and drinks. It is very congested in this area in particular as the restaraunt has far too many tables and chairs throughout the restaurant.

Don't get the wrong. The food tastes great. I just think you have to wait to long and if you have a hint of clastrophobia, forget it.

Also, very very pricey. The girl that claimed she got that whole meal for $7.95 inclusive was wrong. For bread, chicken breasts and fries that'll be $8.00. Drink and tax take you over $10. Come on now!

MY REVIEW: Breakfast tacos are very good. $1.46 including tax. I get one almost every day. Only had lunch here a couple times, the Turkey Burger was VERY good, and at $3.85 not too bad a price.

MY REVIEW: I have been a regular customer for the past five years. I think the service is wonderful, I call in my order ahead of time and the cashiers know me by name and have my order at the counter. The food is not overpriced for the Galleria Area... its affordable. This weeks special is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, fries, and a drink and I paid $7.89 including tax. The portion sizes are also great!! Another plus is the free wireless internet connection. I would definitley recommend this place.

MY REVIEW: I have worked in the Galleria area for 7 years now and have been ordering from this restaurant for the same amount of time and I am tired of the abuse... Whoever the man is that answers the telephone with a smooth kind of voice is downright rude if he doesnt approve of your place of work. I called today to place an order and when I gave him my name number and place of work, he sighed... I didnt say anything at that point. When I told him I had three orders, he said "OH LORD"... and placed me on hold. When he returned, I asked him if I was inconveniencing him, and he said "I am going to have to write this over and over again..." I don't know if anyone else has experienced such service, but I find it to be appalling. I would advise people to pass over this restaurant. The prices are over the top, but it was convenient, but not convenient enough to be made to feel as though I am a burden.

MY REVIEW: Strong points are convenience. Weak points include slow order fulfillment (I have oftened waited more than ten minutes for an order. This would be fine at a restaurant but not a cafe with a pick up line.) Also, food is very overpriced. A special can be a chicken sandwhich (served as chicken on a bun-veggies at the veggie bar) with french fries for $7.95 BEFORE TAX AND WITHOUT A DRINK. That's too pricey.

Did I mention the wait was too long. Even for simple orders like a bagel with cream cheese.
