MY REVIEW: Went for a late lunch. Cauliflower blue cheese soup was nice, but I expected a bit more blue cheese flavor. The ATM sandwich was wonderful, although very messy to eat. Adrea was my server and was great. I cannot wait to go back and try more!

MY REVIEW: Love the wines, great selections available here. Also really love the nice friendly people that assist with choices. Have eaten here a few times, and enjoyed the food, but mostly stop in late for a glass of vino or two. I always feel at home here.

MY REVIEW: I went with a friend to this wonderful restaurant. We sat by a beautiful window view with ducks basking in the sun! What a view....and then the menu came and I am not much on exotic foods, but this was a wonderful surprise. I ordered the Cauliflower and Blue Cheese soup - Delicious, AWESOME soup! We also ordered the Hummus and Lamb for appetizers. I didn't care for the lamb, but the hummus was so fresh and delicious - the pita bread was fresh also.
Overall a great experience and I am recommending it to my friends and will be taking some of them there to experience it for themselves.

MY REVIEW: Strong points-nice ambience, convenient location. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner @ Cafe Bendicte. The food is good, but not outstanding. Staff is attentive and friendly. I have to echo some of the reviews here regarding it's priceiness. The wine list is too expensive (need to offer some solid, less expensive selections) and they have no lunch menu to speak of. It is very close to BP and other Energy Corridor companies. Myself and many of my co-workers, pass this place up at lunch because we can go elsewhere and get good food for a more reasonable price. Very difficult to eat lunch here with entree and beverage for under $15. Superb Eggs Benedict and excellent Moussaka.

MY REVIEW: Went to lunch with a friend who lives very close to this Cafe Benedict. She suggested it and I commented on the reviews I had seen on this site. Our friend had been there several times and said we needed to go. We had an excellent lunch.
The peppercorn steak sandwich was great, and it was suggested by our server, Gino, when I ordered a burger. Others in our party had the ATM and a very nice salad. All excellent. The coffee "Americano" is very rich, another plus. Very enjoyable.
Service was attentive and very helpful. We will definitely return for dinner as they have some of our favorite foods on the menu.
Prices are in line with the Memorial area. This is the little sister(or brother) of L*ynn's Steakhouse. The business card is 2 sided, one restaurant on each side.

MY REVIEW: Isn't it interesting that my poor review (submitted in June 2006) was never published on the website? Nearly all of the reviews are good reviews. Surely, my friend and I are not the only ones who thought this was the most over-priced, worst food we have had in a long time.
Why don't you publish the bad reviews as well as the good ones? What good are reviews if you don't let everyone see all the comments? I see below that you have stated, "We reserve the right to not publish reviews we deem to be excessively rude, blatantly self-serving, or simply mean-spirited with no redeeming value." Your restaurant does not have good food and it is over-priced, and people who really know what good food is will agree with us." That's not mean-spirited. It's the truth!!!

MY REVIEW: We found out about Cafe Bendicte through the management of L*ynn's Steakhouse, another restaraunt we really like. We've been for lunch and dinner before and enjoyed the experience, but this last trip was dissapointing. The service is still friendly and attentive, but the appetizers and entrees were less than satifactory. The presentation lacked style and portion size was tiny. We ordered scallops for an appetizer and received 4 little "quarter" size pieces. Main courses were a la carte, but probably should have an accompnaying vegetable medley to add to the presentation, rather than a blank plate with, in my case, four small lamb chops. We cannot recommend Cafe Benedicte any longer for dinner, considering more attractive choices available.

MY REVIEW: I have enjoyed my several visits. Overall the food is well-prepared and the menu is a nice combination of various european and american dishes. Humus and lamb starter is great, as is beed bourgouinon. Service also good. But value?
Wine is ridiculously overpriced and entrees are too. However if you go just for an appetiser or sandwich plus just one glass of wine, its a nice place to be.

MY REVIEW: I live in the area and waited with great anticipation for Cafe Benedicte to open its doors. The cafe concept where you could sit and enjoy a meal with a glass of wine sounded very inviting. Unfortunately, the priceiness of the food and especially the wine (no house wines here) were a big disappointment in light of the fact the food was only mediocre. They need to introduce a cheaper wine list to choose from.

MY REVIEW: This restaurant is needed on the west side of town.the decor is refreshingly contemporary, staff is friendly, menu is a welcome change, but: food is mediocre (moussakka should not be bland, even for American tastes!!),pricey ($15 glass of chardonnay?!),and slow in coming out of the kitchen. we want you to succeed, but, you need to work on your recipes and execution. it's good food that brings people back.Cafe Benedicte has yet to live up to its L*ynn's heritage.

MY REVIEW: I was really looking forward to eating at this new resturant run by the owners of Lynns Steakhouse we we have had wonderful meals and fantastic service. this was not the case sunday morning. The staff is very sweet, mostly very young and inexperienced teenagers who are trying their best to please. I ordered a sandwich with fresh mozzerela, tomotoes and lettuce, olives. the sandwich arived with one tiny piece about the size of a nickle of mozzerela, I asked the waiter if he could fix this, he cheerfully said yes and apologized. I waited 20 minutes, my family finished their meals and i was still sitting with a lettuce sandwich. later I called him over he said he was sorry and would be back. Later they brought me some bread with toasted cheese on it, tasted like provolone. clearly they had run out of fresh mozzerela, could they not just have told me and I would have ordered something else? The manager did finally apologize and took off my cost of the meal, but I never did get anything to eat. It was a big disapointment. I think the resturant has great potential, lovely decor they just need some experienced customer relationship helpers to back up the sweet young waiter/waitresses who are trying.

MY REVIEW: I have been to the restaurant for lunch and dinner on several occasions with family and friends, as well as business associates. We have never been disappointed. The hummus and the smoked salmon quesadillas are wonderful starters and the couscous and mousaka are favorite entres. The staff is attentive and friendly, and seem genuinely glad that you are there. The wine flights are a unique, interesting and fun way to explore new wines. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable.
A great place for a quiet dinner, business lunch or a glass of wine to end the day.

MY REVIEW: The area has waited a long time for a restaurant like this. The decor makes me feel good the minute I walk in the door. Excellent wait staff. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door and thanked as you leave. The food....what a great menu. Not your average restaurant fare. I don't have a favorite as it is all very good. Benedicte and Loic from L*ynn's Steakhouse have done a great job in brining us a new place to hang out.

MY REVIEW: Great experience, I am a morning person and look forward to breakfast. I have tried about everything on the menu and loved the eggs Benedicte and the biscuits and gravy.
I have had lunch several times and really enjoy the salad Mediterranean and the moussaka. Fantastic value for the quality and generous portions. I have great feedback from friends who have visited the restaurant.
Knowing that the owner is the same as L*ynn's Steakhouse no wonder the quality is definitely a top priority. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff really make you feel welcome.

MY REVIEW: This was my first visit to Cafe Benedicte. I work in one of the complexes across the street and I walked there for lunch. The restaurant is very upscale and would probably be a very nice place for dinner, but for lunch I found it to be very pricy. They need a lunch menu that is not so expensive.

MY REVIEW: This was my first, eagerly awaited visit to a new restaurant in this part of town and first impressions were favourable in terms of decor. Sadly it went downhill from there. We were abandoned by the greeter before we were even allocated a table, so eventually found our own. The service was so erratic that we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, which eventually arrived with a plate of butter. The (excellent) bread to go with the butter turned up with the entrees. The flavour of the two entrees was great but unfortunately they were only lukewarm. There seemed to be lots of staff milling around but little focus or direction. A great shame, as we sadly lack non-chain restaurants in ths area. I think I'll wait a month or so before risking a return visit.

MY REVIEW: A nice surprise awaits you when you enter. It appears to be a little cafe from outside but it is quite large inside. The menu is delightful with Mediterranean flair. The portions are generous and quite delicious. I tried it for lunch and think it would be lovely for dinner too.
