We did not want to go out to a restaurant. We wanted to be relxed in our own home, while making the evening something very special. I stumbled across Bella Compagnia in my search on B4-U-Eat, read the reviews and decided to hire Beatrice based upon the reviews. We were NOT dissapointed at all. We have used caterers before for many gatherings in our home, but Beatrice's professionalism and food put all of them to shame. Everything was prepared in our kitchen, so it was hot and right off the stove, vs many other caterers that pre-prepare their food and spend their time reheating vs cooking. We had a 5-course dinner and every item was delicious and as my husband put it: "perfect balance of flavors and textures." We had never tasted her food and were a bit apprehensive initially but everything was wonderful. My parents were very impressed with Chef Keller's delicious, healthy and beautifully presented dishes. They really enjoyed her warm, outgoing personality as well. We will definitely have Chef Keller prepare another fine dining experience for us in the future. She is wonderful!! We had 20 guests for a four course dinner, plus appetizers. Every dish was superb from the soup to the streudel. The marinated cheeses and Brie in puff pastry were to die for. Chef Beatrice was on time, with her spotless china which made for a dramatic plating of the food. She left with everything just as she had arrived with no mess for me. I will definitly use her again. As a mother of three, a typical mother’s day for me is usually not much different than other days. Not the case this year however. This year..... Mother’s Day for me was anything but ordinary. Beatrice Keller was a lifesaver for me last month during our stressful budget meetings here at my company. I had to cater lunch for our executive staff and 40 managers in town from all over the world. Needless to say they did not want deli-sandwiches delivered for lunch. The meetings lasted two weeks and I used Bella Compagnia (Beatrice) almost every day during that time. Her menus were delicious. She was creative, prompt and professional. She made me look good and she did all the work. It was by all means, first class. I wish I could tell you what my favorite dish is but every menu was so different and unique that I don't have a favorite. From Lasagna, pot roast, shrimp with lemon sauce, chicken w/capers and everything you can imagine. However, I can’t seem to stop thinking about her potato’s-au-gratin. Since my meetings I have introduced Beatrice to several others here at my company and I see her from time to time. I'm glad to spread the word that this is a first class catering chef service. I will use her many more times in the future, especially if I have a need for a private party.
