MY REVIEW: After visiting previously with my husband, I decided to go back to the Tasting Room and enjoy lunch with a couple of girlfriends. They wanted to try the pizza that I had raved about, so we all shared one of those, along with a spinach salad, and each also had a glass of wine. They enjoyed the meal and ambiance as much as I did. And I discovered a nice Sagelands riesling that's great for enjoying on the patio on a warm day. The service seemed much warmer and more friendly than on our first visit. Seems like they're settling into their new space nicely. We look forward to going back.

MY REVIEW: This is a brand new restaurant, and we've been looking forward to its opening. They have a nice little outdoor patio, and since the weather is beautiful right now, we decided to give it a try. My husband ordered one of their Neopolitan style pizzas, and it was quite good. The ingredients seemed very fresh, and it tasted like it was made in a wood-burning oven. The crust in particular was great, nice texture and flavor.
I had the roast chicken which was absolutely delicious and was served with spinach, mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots. Thumbs up; we liked it even more than the pizza. We also split a tasty spinach salad that had golden raisins, toasted pecans, red onions, and balsamic vinaigrette on it. I enjoyed a nice glass or Riesling to go along with my meal. They were also offering a wine tasting while we were there, and we saw a few people enjoying that.
There were a lot of nice little touches - the ice water was flavored with what tasted like fresh lemons and limes. Service was professional, but not terribly warm. I had a Groupon to use, and they didn't want to let me use it and said it was really only for their other location, but they relented and let me use it which I appreciated. We'll definitely go back when we're in the area and look forward to trying other menu items. If you're a wine lover, give this place a try.

MY REVIEW: A few months ago, I reviewed this place saying that I love it. I absolutely had to get back on here and plug the pizzas! They are the best pizzas that I have ever had. The crust is really thin, the topping are tasty and imaginative. On occasion, my wife and I even crave them. Great job folks!
To the reviewer below that wanted complimentary water and cheese:
They do have complimentary water. You just have to ask for it. As for complimentary cheese and crackers. Good cheese is expensive...on occasion it can be really expensive. Regardless of how much you spend at a restaurant, you cannot expect them to comp things like that. Cheese is also hard to pair with wine...some cheeses goes better with certain wines than others. To get a good cheese and wine experience, you have to choose carefully or you will get some pretty bad combinations. I hope this helps you on future visits to the Tasting Room.

MY REVIEW: I've been to the Uptown location several times and decided to try the Gray location based on reviews I read here. Overall, very similar to the good experience I've had at Uptown (ambiance, wine selection, etc) ... that is, with the exception of the 3 employees tending the bar. Even though it was quite empty the entire evening, they just didn't seem to care if we were served ... twice I had to make a special effort to get their attention to order. Never once did they check back on us to see how we were doing. The only time they approached us was to ask us to move from our spot at the bar so that the musical entertainment could set up for the evening. Keep in mind, the place was very empty ... no excuse for this behavior.

MY REVIEW: I always enjoy my visits here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of wines is good. I wish that there were more French selections on their list. The wines are mainly Californian and many Australian selections. The cheese plates are good but I haven't tried many of the other appetizer plates. You can sit inside or outside and the atmosphere is great either way. The Saturday Tastings are a real bargain. I highly recommend this wine bar.

MY REVIEW: Great place!! But be warned - they close at midnight and all wine needs to be consumed (not just purchased) by then. Even still, it's a great place. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and reasonably priced bottles! Finally!!

MY REVIEW: I recently visited The Tasting Room and really liked enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very nice, you can also sit inside or outside. The waitstaff was friendly and the wines are reasonably priced. They also sell wines by the bottle, so you pay retail rather than restaurant prices. I definitely recommend this place.
