MY REVIEW: OMIGOSH!! I don't know where to begin. I was visiting my daughter on Sunday and she suggested we go out to eat.....when she pulled up in front of Sandy's I was skeptical to say the least....but....much to my delight I was blown away...the food was delicious, the service supreme. The atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. I'm definitely going to visit again and tell all my friends about it. The tea selections are the best I have seen anywhere in houston. And best of all....they carry fresh turkey fillets, steaks, and turkey breast cut in half....I've been trying to find that offering for some time now. Whew, I could go on forever, but the best thing to do is visit it for yourself...you will not be dissapointed.

MY REVIEW: What is there not to like about Sandy's? Fresh food bars - both salad & hot - soups, breads, jams & butters, desserts, huge selection of drinks, hot tea made at your table, and very reasonable prices for all-you-can-eat. The food is delicious and healthy, staff is friendly, furnishings are quaint. All in a grocery, health food store and restaurant combination. I LOVE SANDY'S!

MY REVIEW: Sandy's is the one place I can eat and not worry about what I am really eating. The food served is wonderful, fresh and within my budget. The produce is so fresh and tasty, especially the watermelons. I never perfected picking out a good one. There,I don't need to worry. They are all good. I love the fresh herbs, the spices, the teas, and the ------. You fill in the blanks. I don't have to worry about additives, preservatives, pesticides, etc. All I get is good food at Sandy's. The nutritional information Faith has offered me has helped me change my life and my health. Thank you Sandy's Market.

MY REVIEW: It's the freshest salad bar, the best hot foods, so well prepared! The weekend music is wonderful, and when you can't eat any more, you can do your grocery shopping! Sandy and Faith are so welcoming! Check out the beautiful Christmas cactus plants! They're beautiful and hardy. I almost hate to give such a good review, lest it be too crowded next time!

MY REVIEW: I love Sandy's, I used to think it was my little secret, but I have had to share with all my friends and collegues because it is so wonderful. The music, the atmosphere, smells so healthy when you walk in, a combination of spices and teas. Not to mention that Sandy and his wife are usually there to greet you with a big smile. I go so often I feel like I am part of the Sandy's Produce Family.

The price cannot be beat, all you can eat, main course, salad bar, soup bar, and dessert, normally carrot cake or choc, but is fabulous with fresh cut strawberries and fresh made yogurt and I add fresh ground flax seed on top of my frosting!!! To die for. All so fresh and they have added a new Chef to the staff. Personalized omelettes, included in price, made in front of you. the ambiance is amazing. And not to mention all you can drink, roaming tea carts with any kind of tea you could possibly think of. Juice, milk, coffees too. Wow it is amazing, you will love it..

Gloria, the nutritionist is super. But you have to be on your toes at getting her attention, because the customers are always keeping her busy.... She is so knowledgeable and honest with you!!! Not to mention her great sense of humor......

Sunday is always a special treat for me and my friends, we sometimes we stay 2 or 3 hours, and have been guilty of longer. The Health show from KSEV on Sunday from 12 to 2 is very informative, and on the other you have fabulous music to calm and entertain you. I could go on and on....i think you get the picture.

MY REVIEW: I've always liked visiting here. The food has always been good and fresh. Some may complain that the price is high, but I would rather pay the price knowing I have healthy, freshly prepared food.

The selection of health food products is good, but I have to agree with other reviewers that inventory is inconsistent. What I find one day may not be there the next, however; the staff has always been friendly and polite. The ladies that work in the vitamin section are very knowledgable of the products.

MY REVIEW: Sandy's is one of my favorite places to shop and eat. I'm often there at 0700 on a Saturday or Sunday, when the produce is just being brought in. One can often get great bargains there, but sometimes you can do better at Kroger. What can't be beat is the ambiance, which is totally eclectic. I love the color, the music, the light and airy hustle and bustle. Sandy Arch has a great vision and it is slowly being grounded. Inventory control is sporadic, which is annoying. However, the food is great, and it warms the cockles of my heart to see the local office workers crowding the place at lunchtime. It has become a favorite meeting place for my friends and me. A soul-nourishing garden of sensual delights. Carry on carrying on!

MY REVIEW: I used to frequent Sandy's all the time, even more when the store was on Westview - the prices and quality of their produce was unbeatable but now the store is not just way over priced, but last time i was there i couldn't find any produce worth buying so i took the time to just look at the crap they now sell there. i was thanked by being followed around the store like i was a criminal. i won't be back.

MY REVIEW: I agree with the last reviewer. It was very nice to shop there in the past. It was even a good place for the buffet when it was small and inexpensive. Now it's just an over priced buffet and little to offer in the way of produce. Bummer, it was nice to have something different so near by.

MY REVIEW: I am hating Sandy's more and more everyday. It started out as a great place to go get good produce, health food, and vitamins at a reasonable price. Now it has become an artshow and furniture store and a salad bar. Every day there is less food and produce and more junk. Overall they carry a smaller variety of food than they used to, so that makes it even less desirable to shop there. And the food items they do have are re-stocked less often, so they are often out of many things. Every day there is more art hung up for sale, more tables set out for the salad bar, and less food and produce. Sandy's once was a nice alternative to the horrible shopping alternatives in Houston, now it has become almost worthless itself.

MY REVIEW: I took my family there on Mothers Day and they absolutely Loved it. But Sandy's Market advertizing as a Health Food Store- I believe should sell Organic Fresh fruits and vegetables only. It would be wonderful to have a complete Organic Salad bar. Most health consious people eat organic only. We need more support to our Organice Farmers. (Buy Organic) When Sandy's Market first opened it got alot of business from W*hole Food Customers because of their low prices - but most have gone back to W*hole Foods because Sandy's did not sell organic Fresh Vegetables and Fruit. The only fresh organic vegetable I saw was carrots. (GO ORGANIC) Pick-up Business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and God will Bless You

MY REVIEW: This is by far the best kept secret in Houston. I tell everyone I know about this place, because there is none other like it. I initially went there to buy vitamins and minerals, but found that I can do my grocery shopping and get a super healthy and delicious meal while there as well. They do buffets for breakfast, lunch, and recently added dinner...not to mention that the service is second to none. Where else can you get such a deal with personalized tea service at your table? Their buffet prices cannot be beat! YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE! My prayer is that God will bless them to continue to grow and prosper, and that Sandy's Produce Market will soon become a household name around Houston and surrounding areas.

MY REVIEW: Sandy's has finally started serving dinner! Hurray! Been going there for lunch for ages... enjoy the emphasis on health and freshness, as well as variety and uniqueness. It's a huge industrial space, but somehow they have made it almost 'cozy,' with antiques, good service, and a homey quality. I appreciate the healthy alternative to home cooking.

MY REVIEW: Sandy's is the only healthy buffet; I know of in Houston. The food is all prepared fresh. I mean the hot corn on the hot food buffet is cut fresh from the cob; not frozen or canned. There is fresh vegetables in almost all the dishes and the variety changes daily on the entrees. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can't mention all the amazing details on the food; because there are too many. The fresh pureed fruit for toppings on the steel cut oatmeal; not plain old rolled oats for breakfast; for instance. The thing that will blow you away is not only food without the chemicals and preservatives; but the price. It is all inclusive: drinks, salad bar, hot food, desserts, 3 soups, fresh baked breads, tea service at the table, live background music from light jazz to classical trios. You won't beleive you can get all that for 6.50 for breakfast, 8.50 for lunch and 9.99 for dinner. No one can touch this experience!

MY REVIEW: amazing food and unbelievable prices...makes eating healthy a true pleasure! too bad more food establishnents don't put their heart and soul into their customers eating concerns for healthier eating like Sandy's does! we'd all be better off. this store is NOT profit motivated , which makes it good for all of us who enjoy a healthier eating style! if you haven't tried SANDY'S...go now!!!!! thank you Sandy..keep up the good food!

MY REVIEW: I've never found another healthfood restaurant/store like this. Some competitors, like M*oveable Feast are so small and crowded that you hear every smoothie being made and every credit card transaction being conducted. Not very relaxing or quiet.

In contrast, Sandy's is as large as any supermarket, with tables scattered far apart amongst the displays of fresh fruit, etc., with live music playing, and roaming tea carts for a huge variety of fresh hot or iced teas. The food is self-served from extensive hot and cold food buffets, with really nice, fresh ingredients. You can also buy to go containers of the good salmon salad, egg salad, tabouli, etc. from the refrigerator cases. The prices are very reasonable. It looks like a lot of the patrons are regulars. It is a very welcoming kind of place.

MY REVIEW: I really like Sandy's for the fresh produce, vitamin selection, fruit juices, teas, and coffee, as well as the lunch buffet. Even though it's an open market, the ambiance is enhanced with the background of classical music on Saturday afternoons, and from what I understand, a jazz quintet for Sunday brunch. And yes, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the manager/owner frequently comes by to chat and to find out if everything is okay. I appreciate good service, food, and atmosphere, no matter where it is. Even in a food market.

MY REVIEW: Actually, probably nobody knows my name, except maybe "Mr. Grouchy". Yes, this is a unique store. I visit it several times a month. I tried the hot buffet once and, while there was a nice selection, the food didn't have much flavor. But I mainly go to Sandy's to shop for food. My big frustration with them is that they do NOT keep there stocks up. They run out of something (unsalted peanuts, Ezekiel bread, psyllium husk), then don't restock it for weeks. I have asked why and the only answer I get is "Cash Flow". Hasn't Sandy's heard about bank credit. Also, when I ask when something will be restocked, they always tell me a date and then when I go back, they still don't have the product and often don't have it for several more weeks. I wish they would treat their customers better as far as keeping there products stocked.
