MY REVIEW: Sometimes the sushi is good here, sometimes it's not. We also had a bad waitress the last time. She pretty much ignored us. I noticed that other tables with different waitresses were getting their sushi much quicker than us. And she completely disappeared for about 30 minutes.

MY REVIEW: Food is great but large TV's playing non-stop and photos all over the wall make the place unromantic and give it a cluttered look. Please get rid of the TV's and take the photos down. We eat in the Village/Med Ctr. area a lot and they don't have TV's in their restaurants. Seems to mainly be a Pasadena thing.

MY REVIEW: I went here to eat for dinner. It wasn't very busy at all, had a couple tables. The service was TERRIBLE. She took forever to finally come get our drink orders, then she took FOREVER to come take our order. I was looking around to see what other tables she had. it was only two, and i noticed she took her sweet time to take their orders too. I didn't even know her name. When it was time to pay, she was just walking around texting on her cell phone. I don't know if the manager is even a GOOD manager, because i noticed all their servers were terribly slow. However, the sushi is great. I would come back for the sushi, but i really don't think I will because of the terrible service.

MY REVIEW: I remember the first time I had Little Tokyo, we were supposed to go downtown & eath sushi @ a fancy place. We were running short on time & someone had recommended this Sushi place on Fairmont. I was thinking, heck no Sushi in Pasadena.
I have yet to find a sushi place that i like more than Little Tokyo, they have great food, friendly service, & an extensive menu filled w/ awesome rolls.
I highly recommend any one in the area to check them out & tell them Joe Wong sent you by.
favorite rolls: Toinette, Rogner, Cotton, Rowdy's Volcano, Flying Stevenson, & several more I can't think of at the moment.

MY REVIEW: I went for the first time and i LOVE this place. its small and cozy and cute ;)
Perfect for a date! The lights are dimmed and have cute little lamps on the tables. The Sushi is soooooooooo GOOD! We go to the Jazz Roll,Tiger Eye Roll, and a soft crab roll that i cant remember the name if but was super delicious!
The Dumplings are awesome and i just love this place. I will deffinetly be going back. The only con is the waiters are forgetfull and young and a little slow but they are young so its expected. But it will not stop me from going to this place. I highly Recommend it to Sushi Lovers!!!

MY REVIEW: Went there for the first time last time. My son goes all the time. Loved the food and the waitress. Busy place for dinner. My son got some yummy sushi and I got the lettuce wrap. I'll come again. Great stuff. Like the atmosphere, cozy. A bit loud....but I found that charming!

MY REVIEW: My husband and I go to Little Tokyo all the time. I have eaten at many different sushi restaurants i.e. The F*ish, R*a, S*age 400, etc... I LOVE LITTLE TOKYO. The price can not be beat, the sushi is fresh and the menu of rolls goes on forever, which is a little excessive and sometimes less is more, but, you have plenty of options. Go there enough and you will know which are your favorites. The service is not the best in town and needs a little work. It seems like more and more often people are bringing there young kids which probably have no desire to eat sushi and they get pretty bored and then start entertaining themselves, so, it is a little uncomfortable for the people that just want to have a nice sushi dinner. But, if you want great sushi for a great price, you should try it.

MY REVIEW: I've been coming to Little Tokyo since they opened up. I've been to a lot of sushi bars in the US in a span of 25 years. I can tell you that Little Tokyo is by far the best sushi place IN THE US. There are a few times I've had to wait a few minutes to get a table. But that tells you the place is good if it's busy. There is always something new to try on the menu. Most sushi places just have a few selections, boring! The owners are very gracious and always take care of their customers. I am so lucky they moved to Pasadena as I love sushi. Meet me at Little Tokyo, I'm usually here at the bar!

MY REVIEW: Very good Sushi, not the best but very good. The service can be slow at times, but it is well worth it. You do not have to drive into Houston and back to get good Sushi. They have a HUGE selection of rolls. The Laura's Shaggy Dog Roll is awesome. I love going here.

MY REVIEW: The food was good, but not the best sushi I have ever had. The Staff was horrible. You wait forever to get served, The staff is a bunch of high school kids with no sense of service. Over Priced. I hope the owner / manager reads these posts. The best Sushi Bar in Houston is O*ishii on Richmond inside the loop. They have the best prices, and wait staff is very respectful.

MY REVIEW: We wasted a lot of gas driving 30 min. to this place because we heard it was good. After 30 more min. of waiting with our menus to be served the waitor never came by to our table although he didn't seem to mind checking on other tables right beside us several times. We never even got our drinks... very upsetting so we left.

MY REVIEW: pros - delicious, affordable food - great sushi chefs, and very nice and acommodating too - near my home
cons - the menu is ridiculous; they really should spend some money on a more concise one - no happy hour - need to spend more time training waitstaff, just the basics will help a lot
fyi, they are closed on mondays

MY REVIEW: The food is good, not really anything special but probably one of the better japanese restaurants in Pearland. However, the service is horrible. I've stopped even trying to go in and eat due to the poor service. Even trying to get an order to go is a huge hassle and usually results in a very long wait. My order has been lost the last two times I've gone and when I finally do get the order, there is always something missing that I have paid for. It seems like the waiters do more standing around talking to one another than actually waiting on customers.

MY REVIEW: The food is usually good with each visit. However, the service has gone from bad, to worse, to almost non-existent. The wait staff consists of 4 to 5 high school girls who would rather stand behind the counter and talk to each other than take orders, fill drinks, deliver the bill, or pickup the bill. My wife and I and our friends have wasted too much time waiting on the Pearland location's ridiculous idea of service to return.

MY REVIEW: I usually love to go to this place. Good sushi... fresh fish... The best in Pearland I can say.
However, yesterday was a disaster... I got such a bad manner waitress I've ever met before. She wore a pink T-shirt with eyeglasses (red hair). She was not friendly at all. Very abrupted!! The way she talked ...was very short and strong to the customers. I'm not going there and begging or asking for a free food. I think I deserve better service with a nice waitress.
It would be nice if management can train wait staffs to be (at least) a little nicer with customers!!!! Very disappointed yesterday!!!! (07/09/08)
As for others....FYI if you go with a party of 6 people or more, you will get charge 18% gratuity...eventhough the service sucks.. and the waitress is bad!!!!!!!
