MY REVIEW: We have just moved from the west Houston area and I can say the only thing I will miss is Iron Chef. My husband and I went when it first opened and took our 5 children. The service was fantastic - they were helpful and enthusiastic. And the food was delicious (and I am a sushi snob)! We have been loyal customers for years and I can say that I have never had a bad experience.

MY REVIEW: I'm the quintessential inner looper snob and eat sushi at all the over priced latest and greatest sushi bars often. I was so shocked when I discovered that this place ROCKED for great sushi!!! I went on the attitude of sushi in burbs...hmmm...but I absolutely LOVED it. They have awesome rolls and are really well priced. Heading that way today for an appointment and will be stopping to pick lunch from them on the way back to the city!!!

MY REVIEW: I did not like this restaurant. There is a better option about a mile up the road on Highway 6. While the food did not taste bad, it was poorly prepared. The sushi was not prepared tightly and fell apart as soon as it was lifted off the dish. The tempura had a batter coating that was two to three times the thickness it should be. It also seemed like all we had was eggplant and sweet potato in a tempura entree. Finally the fried rice was bland.

MY REVIEW: This place is great! I go at lunch, as it is near my work. I've had sushi all over town and this is one of the best. Great service and reasonable prices. It is always fresh and clean. I especially like the Rock N Roll. heck it out, You will love it.

MY REVIEW: I looove, loooooove this place! It beats any other sushi restaurant I've been in. Me and my bf always sits by the bar because the sushi chef entertains us so well while making his masterpiece. On good days, he'd even give us free sushi that he just created. We always get the complimentary crab with pickle appetizer (weird but so yummy!) and they end it with the ice crean candy ball, so good too!

You should try everything!!! But my favorite ones are the Tiger Eye, Crunch, New Orleans, Naruto.. etc.. etc.. I forgot the names sorry. But dont be scared to try it! The staff is superb! My drinks are always refilled and we always get our empty plates picked up right away.

I'll be moving out 30 miles away from this location soon but I won't mind taking that trip to eat!

MY REVIEW: I love this place. The sushi is awesome and they have some of the best rolls in Houston. I love the way it is so convenient to my house as I live off of Barker Cypress. They also have really reasonable prices for the quality of food they provide. I love the lunch special 3 roll combo with salad or soup. I can't say enough good things about this restuarant and I am on my way there as we speak.

MY REVIEW: I highly recommend the Iron Chef Sushi Bar. I am very picky about where I eat Sushi. I had a number one place over by the Greenspoint Mall area that I would only go to, but sent I was recommended to the Iron Chef - it will always go there. It's also very close to my house and on the way home from work. I eat there 4 times a week. You can take a date or go with you spouse; bring a nice bottle of wine and enjoy eating. The staff has always been very polit and frinedly. Happy New Years Iron Chef :)

MY REVIEW: Awesome sushi to sum it all up!! My wife and I are "regulars" and generally eat here 5+ times a month or whenever the mood strikes. Glad there is finally a good sushi place "in our backyard". Prices aren't bad at all, and the atmosphere is great for a group or friends, or a date. Waitstaff is generally attentive, although we like to sit at the bar.

Sushi is very fresh and tasty, and there are many rolls to tempt all types of pallates. One of my faves is the Lava!

MY REVIEW: Very delicious, I love it!! Large variety to choose from and some unique desserts too. Something for everyone even if you don't want sushi (but it is so good, why not?)!

MY REVIEW: This is my favorite Restaurant. The Sushi and Staff are great. I find myself eating Sushi at Iron Chef 2-3 times a week. I have tried Sushi all over Houston and this place by far is the best and the most reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to all the sushi lovers out there!

MY REVIEW: By far my most favorite place to eat in town. Shockingly enough, I just so happen to live nearby. If you need a place to take a girl/boy out on a date, I guarrantee you will not be disappointed. Not only will the setting help start off the mood, but the music will also melt your heart and your girlfriend's. If you come from church and would like to bring the whole family, this is definitely the place to be. If you prefer to be alone, this is it. As a matter of fact, if you try to sit at the bar, you will find both chefs to be very friendly-you'll be surprised the things you guys have in common.

I definitely recommend the Rock n' Roll...and the ice cream vanilla tempura...I guarrantee you will come back the next day, if not next week.

MY REVIEW: I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm extremely picky on my sushi and have tried tons and tons of places in Houston. This one definitely ranks up there. The Rock-n-Roll and Lobster Roll are excellent here. They have a really good lunch and dinner menu. I go here at least twice a week. The waiters and waitresses are really nice and attentive as well. I'm hooked!

MY REVIEW: After reading many positive reviews, I tried this place out for the first time and I'll definately be going back! I live in the NW side of town and I've been determined to find a decent place to get some sushi nearby. From the location and it's outside appearance you don't think anything of it, but it's a pretty good establishment. The staff is friendly, but not as friendly as the one at Sushi R*ock in Sugarland, which is btw one of my favorite places to have sushi in the SW side.

I ate at Iron Chef late afternoon and there were about 4 or 5 other couples/groups there, and I had the Fire roll which is my favorite and it was delicious. The atmosphere and decor is fine, its new, clean, and that's always a plus. Food is reasonably priced as well. Try it if you haven't yet!

MY REVIEW: My sisters started going to this sushi place since it opened and ever since then, it has upheld its great quality of food. The service is also great! They know my whole family and every now and then give us a good recommendation on what we should try next. We are always extremely satisfied with this restaurant and always recommend it to everyone we know. Anyone who loves sushi will definitely love the IRON CHEF!!

MY REVIEW: We are regulars here and often sit at the sushi bar. That's the place to sit because the Sushi Chefs are extremely attentive and even throw in a free appetizer which is always good! Consists of crabmeat (imitation), crunchy and cucumbers etc etc. Very good.

We often order the Crunch, Lava and Rock N Roll. I recently ordered the Golden Point (Gold something rather..) and it was DELICIOUS! The service at first is so-so ('cept for the sushi chefs) but once they now who you are, return customers and all, they will have your drinks out to you before you even tell them what you want, very attentive and nice. The sushi chefs make this place, so be sure to sit at the sushi bar!

MY REVIEW: I LOVE THIS PLACE...THE LUNCH SPECIAL 2 OR 3 ROLL COMBO WITH SALAD OR SOUP FOR

$7.50 OR $9.50 IS SOOOOO AFFORDABLE....AND YOU CHOOSE FROM SEVERAL DIFFERENT ROLLS...IF I ORDER THE 3 ROLL I USUALLY ONLY EAT 2 AND I AM A BIG EATER.I ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME WAITER, WHO IS VERY ATTENTIVE AND THE HOSTESS/OWNERS WIFE IS ALSO VERY NICE. I PROBABLY EAT HERE AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES A WEEK, AND I LIVE QUITE A WAYS AWAY. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES. THEY DO NEED TO ADVERTISE, BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE EVEN AWARE OF THE LOCATION.

MY REVIEW: I think the only problem I have with the place is the music they play...other than that I love it and go as often as I have money I should be using on other things. I usually order the lava, fire, and rock and roll, and on occasion, share a love boat with myself. I have never ordered anything but sushi/sashimi probably because it is extremely good and keeps me from ordering anything else.

MY REVIEW: The food at this little restaurant is what gets me through a hard week. I live for the "Big Easy," the crunchy roll, the lava roll (I honestly don't understand the complaint of 'Jim'.), but especially the famed "Love Boat" for special occasions. The cheesecake tempura is abolutely wonderful to finish up the meal if you manage to have room left. The relaxed atmosphere is calming, but if there is one thing to lament it is that not enough people know of this place.

MY REVIEW: The person below must not know good Sushi. This place always has fresh sushi and great food. It is not Fast Food so don't expect your meal in 5 minutes!! I love this place and will return again and again. Don't hesitate to try...you will enjoy your food.

MY REVIEW: I would have to say this is the worst Japanese restaurant in Houston. The service was slow ( and no, it wasn't busy! ), the waitress got my order completely wrong then didn't understand what I was telling her, and the food was awful. My friend and I ordered ramen, but they gave me a lava roll instead! When I finally got them to understand they told me they were out of ramen noodles! They offered me udon or soba instead. I figured they ment the udon or soba menu items, but no, they actually put soba noodles in the ramen broth, GROSS!

I now know why it's called IRON CHEF, it's the only way they can get business! You'd guess it would be great but it sucks!

MY REVIEW: We just went for lunch it was wonderful. We sat at the sushi bar and the chef was very nice. Very very fresh sushi, nice size portions and priced right. The only bad point is no beer. Will be back for sure. Nice to have a place by the office instead of the usual fast food.

MY REVIEW: I have been going there since they opened up in my nieghborhood. They have always been excelent with service, and presentation has always been next to perfect. Great atmosphere, and very convient for the bear creek area. I love it. Matter of fact I am going to eat there right now.

MY REVIEW: I have been to several places in Houston, thought I could try Iron Chef. Drove all the way from Galleria to Katy to Iron Chef. The interior was okay. The food are mostly overpriced. Service was far from expected. The Chinese lady didnt care to ask us whether we want something to drink. Poor manner was displayed while we were trying to order. Very unsincerely thank you when we ask for the check. THE WORST PART: They surcharge on the tip, they changed the tip amount on the check. I'm glad I found out when I got home, will report immediately. I start to wonder these comments that were made on this site.
