MY REVIEW: Had breakfast on Saturday. As always, huge portions and extremely noisy. Impossible to hold a conversation. I had scrambled eggs and ham-- usually good but greasy this time. Husband had salad said it was good, but not great

MY REVIEW: Visited on 05/18/12 , first time, good timing on being seated, beautiful establishment, however food is a bit OVERPRICED, not too many eye catching items on menu, took me and husband 15 mintues or more just to decide, nothing that stands out from any other sit down restaurant,I was actually looking for something different or perhaps fancy, wasn't too impressed with it, can't say I will not visit again as I like to shop in the area and may stop in just for the RASPBERRY LEMONADE.

MY REVIEW: I really like this place. I met girlfriends here for a luncheon, and we all really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I had the chicken piccata, and it was absolutely delicious. Even though I ordered the lunch portion, my order was big enough for two people, and I ended up bringing half of it home. My friends enjoyed grilled trout, a burger, and a mushroom "burger." We all split an order of the beignets for dessert, and they came with three delicious sauces - a raspberry one, a fudge chocolate one, and another that was a Jack Daniels cream. Service was excellent as well. We'll be back.

MY REVIEW: I made reservations for 12 people on May 23th for June 11th. On the date, I show up and my reservations could not be found. There is absolutely no excuse of how they can lose someone's reservations.

MY REVIEW: tapas were great. martinis were great. the cappuccino was plain coffee with steamed milk and the strawberry shortcake did not fit the description on the menu. It was a bisquick biscuit split in two, vanilla ice cream in between, with sliced strawberries. i've been satisfied in the past, but walked away this time thinking the staff is either dishonest or clueless. not sure I'll go back.

MY REVIEW: One of my favorites, much tastier than the C*heesecake Factory. I love the salads, the Chicken & shrimp jabalaya, the buffalo chicken wraps are off he chain good. the desserts are to die for. I tell all of my family members and friends to dine here.

Great service, not a long wait and overall great food. Prices are reasonable. Drink prices are a bit pricey, they should be more price competitive. The martini's are fabulous.

MY REVIEW: Great Service from beginning to end. The guy bringing the food even put the napkin on my lap..was so not expecting that.

The Hamburger OMG.. I think it was the grand lux burger. It had Chesse..I MEAN CHESSE grilled on Both sides of the bread. The meat had to be sirloin fresh ground..too!!!

The pizza and Salad....Wow...Great Crust...FRESH!!!!

Could not finish the burger or the pizza ...took it to go. My dad ate half my burger, fries and the reminder of the pizza.

WE all ate for a liitle over $30.00. OOhh The maragarita was great frozen...ice cold...got a chest and head rush.

The Big chocolate chip cookie with pecans..great....!!

Will definetly be back again. I saw A smoothie and a pot pie at an another table...going back for that and much more!!!!

MY REVIEW: I find the crowd watching here as interesting as the food. The building itself is very unique with it's high ceilings and faux painted walls. I don't expect food good enough to talk about from a "theme" chain like this but after ordering the Hamburger I was impressed! There are lots of interesting items on the menu but being a Burger guy, and familiar with Houstons best burger joints I ordered the Hamburger just to see how theirs would match up.

First...It is LARGE! The taste was deep and meaty and the bun was very good too. In the moment of finishing the burger I told my friend that this is the Best Burger I've had but none of my Burger Buddies are going to believe it as generally they think a great burger has to come from a local "joint". It's hard to say which is THE BEST but this one is right up there with my best burger experiences! Contrary to this great burger experience is the Kobie Beef Burger I heard about at M*ax's Wine Bar, on Washington. I rate the Kobie Beef Burger @ around $16.00 my biggest burger dissapointment yet.

MY REVIEW: I was part of a large party celebrating a birthday and this was my first dining experience at this restaurant. The server was timeley and gave each of us good tips regarding our menu selections. The drinks and food arrived when expected, without any mix-ups. Because it was a large party, there was diversity in the menu selections around the table (chicken, seafood and beef dishes. Eveyone enjoyed their meals. The Miso Glazed Salmon and Shrimp Pasta appeared to be the most "favored" dishes at the table. The "hot lava" Chocolate Cake was o.k.

Overall the experience was very good and I will gladly return for another meal.

MY REVIEW: I love everything about the Grand Lux Cafe. I first visited the one inside the Ventian in Las Vegas on my honeymoon, and whenever we found out there was one in Houston we were so excited!

This place is awesome. Everything we have tried has been wonderful...I recommend the rustic lasagna or the lemon chicken picatta and the buffalo chicken wraps for appetizer SO GOOD! Very pretty on the inside, and they bake the desserts you order fresh while you are eating. It is a little pricy but worth every penny in my opinion.

MY REVIEW: My friend and I went here for dinner the other night. My friend had the margherita pizza and I had the chopped salad. I do not recommend either. I am sure the pizza comes frozen and is then heated. The crust was thick, when margherita pizza should be on thin crust. The chopped salad was downright horrible. It consisted of HUGE chunks of lettuce, chicken, and tomato, ALL of which were WARM (even the vegetables). I would never order either entree again. HOWEVER, the desserts were amazing. I had the Créme Brulee Duo and my friend had the Fudge Cake Collision. We both loved our HUGE desserts and took the leftovers home. The Créme Brulee Duo really was perfection. The service was terrible (we had about 5 different servers that all kept disappearing) and I was a little irritated that iced tea or soda is $3 a piece. This is a great place to go for dessert (and the cocktails at other tables looked fabulous), but the main courses are a dissapointment. Honestly, The C*heesecake Factory is cheaper AND better.

MY REVIEW: I love this place and dine here occasionally (about 3-4 times a year.)

Pros:
Delicious food (never found anything we did not like)
To-die-for flautas, quesadillas, beignets, pineapple upside down cake
Mai Tai's and Strawberry Margaritas
Huge portions
Ambiance
Even when there is a wait, usually quicker than estimated

Cons:
Service is usually good but sometimes disappointing
Parking (expected with this location)
No call ahead waiting or reservations
