MY REVIEW: My honey and I each ordered Pad Thai, which was pretty good. We also shared a NY Roll which was quite tasty although a little smaller than comparable rolls at other sushi places. They brought us a complimentary coconut rice dessert after the meal which was a nice touch.
The downside was their prices for the Thai dishes were several dollars higher per dish than most comparable establishments, without being any better or having larger portions. The sushi cost about the same as comparable places but was a little smaller. Also, my thai ice tea tasted off to me -- it had an ash tray taste to it. I don't know if someone was smoking in the kitchen or if they burned the tea or what, but it really tasted odd to me.
All in all, it's a decent place, but not really a good value for my money. If I'm in the mood for sushi I will hit S-u-s-h-i H-a-n-a down the street, and for Thai I will just head back towards town to S-i-n-g-h-a which has food that is just as good or better for about 1/3 less money.

MY REVIEW: Dining at Khun Noi Thai Cafe' & Sushi Bar was an exceptional dining experience!!! There are plenty of Thai restaurants throughout Houston with ornate and pretentious decor accompanied by mediocre and over-expensive cuisine--- not so Khun Noi. Tantalizing Pad Se Ew, Masasman Curry, Satay Qai, and other delicacies graced our table much to our delight... the BEST in Houston!!! R.C., his family, and staff provide exemplary service (Five Star!!!) in an impeccably clean environment much to their patrons joy: I anxiously await my next visit!!!!

MY REVIEW: We had Pud Thai, curry, and sauteed rice noodle. Nothing of them were very authentic; mostly way too sweet. Soup was very tasteless and salad dressing was too sweet. I tried their California rolls as well; they weren't very good either. The portion was quite small relative to its price. Their service is very good though.

MY REVIEW: We visit this restaurant almost monthly. The curry dishes, soups, Pad Ke mao,... are excellent. The service is always good and the people who work there are very friendly. The prices and portions are also very good. I would say it's the 2nd best Thai restaurant I have ever been to (the first was in Denver).

MY REVIEW: Khun Noi is an excellent Thai restaurant. This family-owned business offers all of the classic Thai specialties. The service was fantastic - RC was the best waitier we've had in a long time. We had the Masaman Curry, Pad Se Ew, Thai fried rice and crispy spring rolls. All were delicious. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

MY REVIEW: Having lived in Bangkok and being spoiled by fantastic, authentic Thai restaurants in California, I have to say that this place is substandard. How can you offer sushi as well as Thai food, it's either one or the other. The Chicken Satay wasn't bad, but everything else, BBQ beef salad, yellow curry, and I forget which other dishes we ordered didn't taste like authentic Thai food at all. As a matter of fact, forget the "authentic", it didn't even taste like Thai food. Still searching though.........

MY REVIEW: Recommended - the curries, especially the panang curry with beef. I think they recently changed owners and you can tell the difference in the restaurant.

MY REVIEW: It has a different name now, but it's still a great Thai place. The lunch is great - you get spring rolls either fried crispy or soft, salad, and soup with your entree. The curries are good and you can ask them to adjust how hot it is. Recommended - Panag Curry with beef. The beef is tender and not chewy. Any curry with tofu for those vegetarians is a wonderful complement to the curry. They could serve more rice with the dishes and the sushi is adequate. I think they let the sushi rice sit too long.
