MY REVIEW: My boyfriend and I went last Sat. for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The charro beans were very delicious, usually when I eat charro beans I always end up adding more salt or something but this time I didn't have to add anything to it.... DELICIOUS!!! We're definetly going back to Tito's soon.

MY REVIEW: Titos is very good. The food is very good and the service remarkable. They have a black bean dip that is yummy as well as tasty salsa. They have a riddle and if you solve it you receive free sopapillas. Titos has a family friendly area. I really like places that I do not have to wait in line. I think Titos is great

MY REVIEW: This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. The margaritas are excellent. The staff is super nice and attentive and there's always a good aura in the restaurant. I go there all the time because it is really laid back and the food is always excellent. I highly recommend trying it for yourself! The only thing is to be prepared for large portions... at a good price not to mention. :)

MY REVIEW: My boyfriend and I used to rank this place on our top 3 list of favorite Mexican restaurants, and we've always been very loyal customers, but not after tonight. The owners here are CHEAP! We had a coupon for $5 off we wanted to use. Our waiter informed us that the coupon is only good if you spend $20 or more, and we only spent $17.67, so he asked if he could add on another iced tea to bring the bill up (I actually bought a margarita as well and spent more than $17.67, but of course, alcohol is excluded on the coupon). We said that was fine. But when he brought us the bill we saw that he also decided to take it upon himself and charge us an extra $1 for an enchilada plate we ordered. When we asked one of the owners about it, he explained to me that even with the extra iced tea added, the bill was still only $19.36, and still not enough to use the coupon, so that's why he added the dollar. Oh no, a whole .64 cents short! I asked why I couldn't just be charged an even $20 and get the discount off of that. He preceded to argue with me about why I was making a big deal about .36 cents, and for whatever reason he refused to do it, and I was tired of arguing. We will not be returning. I have been going here ever since it first opened as El C*harro, I've recommended this place to many people, and I feel insulted to be treated this way. I hope they enjoy the miniscule amount of money they scammed from me, because they've just lost at least $40 a month in business from us. Oh, and the food and service has declined as well. Don't waste your time. There are so many better mexican restaurants in the area.

MY REVIEW: We (including family & friends) love this place! The food and service are wonderful! The prices are so reasonable that we visit quite often. When friends or family visit, this is always the first choice. Regarding the comment about the margaritas below - I have purchased the "special" $1.95 margarita many times, and have never had a problem with the bill. I just ask for the special, as I would in any restaurant that was offering a special.

MY REVIEW: I went here recently with a group of people and everyone ended up liking it. The waiter was friendly, the food was great and the portions were all large. All in all it's a very good Mexican restaurant.

MY REVIEW: I left Tito's with a bad taste in my mouth. There printed advertisment said $1.95 MARGARITA'S ALL DAY LONG. My wife and I ordered a total of four with dinner. I was surprised when the bar bill was $20. I asked for the manager, he told me "how could I expect to pay only $1.95 for a drink that large?"
I explained to him that nowhere did it say anything about a small or large, or that there was even a $5.00 margarita available. I showed him the printed adverisement $1.95 margaritas, all day long. I told the manager that the waiter never said that there was a small or large margarita. The manager then tried to double talk me "oh, you must have thought it was happy hour" and his friend rudely said something about having to deal with people like me.
They would not adjust the bill. Be on your guard if you go to Tito's. We felt suckered by a bait and switch. We won't be back.

MY REVIEW: We absolutely LOVE Tito's. Their food is great, salad is always fresh and servings are huge. Their enchiladas, esp. cheese are to die for! I recently moved into the neighborhood and am so happy to have found Tito's. Their service is excellent and staff are courteous as well.

MY REVIEW: I have to say that TITO'S restaurant on Dairy Ashford is by far the best all-around Mexican restaurant I have EVER been to. I have eaten there atleast twice a week for almost a year now (if I had discovered it sooner, I would have started eating there sooner). Everyone there is always so kind, no matter how much money I spend...or if I dine-in or get an order to go.
They have great food, the establishment is very clean (major points in my book), the staff is always very professional and presentable, and the service CANNOT be beat! All of these things speak volumes about this restaurant and that is why I choose to keep going back. They deserve every repeat customer they get!
MY FAVORITES: stuffed avocado's, chicken tortilla soup, sopapillas

MY REVIEW: You are part of the family when you walk in the door. The owners are 3 brothers and they have really turned it into an excellent place for your standard and not so standard tex-mex, with some added menu items including a variety of wonderful burgers for those of you not in the mood for mexican food. They also serve a black bean dip with the chips that is very tasty. The margs are inexpensive and the top shelves are worth every penny. The prices are in line with most Mexican places around but the service makes it the place to go. If you are on the west side of town give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: I have been going here since it opened as El C*harro's, they have not lost any of those great food or customer service touches after changing to Tito's. Everything from the Fajitas, to the enchilada's it is all good! But the best of all if dining is in my opinion, the Diablo Shrimp!

MY REVIEW: Tito's is great! The staff is terrific, the place is nicely decorated, food is wonderful, they frequently offer "new" specialty items, which have all been delicious. They offer lunch discounts to all area businesses which is a plus. Would certainly recommend Tito's for great mexican food.

MY REVIEW: I've been going to this restaurant since it first opened as EL C*HARRO several years ago. The food has always been delicious. Their cheese enchiladas are the best we've ever had, as well as their chicken flautas. Their queso is highly recommended too. But since the new owners took over, there have been drastic improvements in the service and the ambiance inside the restaurant. Before the restaurant was very dark and dreary, and the booths were falling apart. Now it's more festive, well kept, and full of color. They also made the entire restaurant nonsmoking which is a plus for us. If you have young kids, they have a great kids play area to keep them entertained. They have a bar area with a big screen TV to catch the games. My only complaint is that they just recently raised their prices, which they're entitled to do but it's just dissapointing.

MY REVIEW: First of all let me say that TITOS has the best margaritas in town and at a $1.95 what else can you say!!! We tried their sampler platter with mexican eggrolls, stuffed shrimp avocados and stuffed jalapenos and they were great!! After a couple more of these AWESOME Ritas we ordered Fajitas & Diablo Shrimp and Pollo TITOS. WOW!! Great portions and extremely tasty food. The fajitas came on a steaming skillet with 3 jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon. Th Pollo TITOS was excellent a creamy white wine sauce with mushrooms and shrimp absolutley delicious. We noticed that the owners had painted the walls and told us about new carpet. The place looks wonderfull. Juan and his wife Adriana, Miguel and Daniel always recognize us by name and make our meal very enjoyable. The restaurant is always clean and even has a kids area with a TV and toys!! Friday Nights they have Live Music and everyone gets into it and some even dance! We love what a breath of fresh air the Gusart family has brought to our neighboorhood. We highly recommend it.

MY REVIEW: My boyfriend and I did not feel like driving all the way to L.Tortillas for good fajitas, so we decided to get takeout from Tito's since they are only about a minute from our house. We should have driven the extra miles....the beef fajitas were not on par with any other beef fajitas I have ever tried. They were full of fat and gristle. Would not go there again.

MY REVIEW: Tito's used to be El C*harro and is recently under new management. We go there often - it is an unpretentious family Mexican restaurant with great margaritas! The wait staff are friendly and the fajitas, quesedillas and their fish dishes (for example the specialty called "Acapulco") are tasty and inexpensive. There is a room with three tables and a play area with toys which is good for small children. For the holidays, Santa visited with his elf who made balloon animals. They also have live music at the weekends. If you want a low stress meal with your children, this is the place.
