We've also stayed overnight in the casitas and went horseback riding during the day. This is a luxurious getaway. Highly recommend to cook with Chef Jason. The attentiveness of the staff, the chef's ability to grant our substitutions and the absolute accomodating nature of everyone there made it a most enjoyable experience. The dessert was fantastic and innovative and the on-site food made a difference in the taste. The chocolate souffle is not to be missed. The location and landscape is gorgeous and the wine list was very noteable. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a relaxing night, a long weekend. We went there for my mother's birthday and everything was perfect, Richard and his staff, were attentive yet unobtrusive and never rushed us at all, in fact the chef sent out free appetizers for us to munch on as we enjoyed our drinks before dinner. Also, they were so accommodating with substituting the prix fix menu for me. The location is glorious and the wine list impressive. The only downside is the price-- $95/person is a bit much for just your regular dining experience.
