MY REVIEW: I agree with Paul G; this is a great taqueria. They even have a DTL (Dedicated Tortilla Lady). Their homemade corn tortillas are excellent. On each table they have a shaker of Mexican oregano and two squirt bottles, one with red sauce and one with green sauce. The green one is amazing--roasted poblano based. The red one is based on dried chilies and is also very good.

The pork in ancho sauce is quite good, as is the chile relleno and all of the breakfast items I've tried.

MY REVIEW: The smallest taqueria in SO HO. And the kitchen is even smaller but they cook the BEST real mexican food in the neighborhood. I have been living in SO HO for 10 years now and I eat mexican food almost every day and this place is truly tops on my list in this area. I have tried and loved everthing on the menu but if i had to choose my favorite then i got to go with the Asado de Puerco en Homemade ancho sauce.

MY REVIEW: A true 'hole in the wall.' Try it. But order extra tacos. They make them on those little tortillas like they do in mexico. They have caldo de res all day. Their aguas frescas are really good. Order a HAMBURGUESA MEXICANA. It is SCRUMPTIOUS.
