Mr Hoagies Sandwich

MY REVIEW: Stop by after looking at the place for about a year. Great idea, the Philly sandwich was damn good! The prices are very economical as well, I paid $7.00 for two sandwiches as your second sandwich is 1/2 off. It took about 10-15 minutes to get a hot sandwich and 1 turkey on Swiss. I will return.

MY REVIEW: I've been going to Mr Hoagies for years. They have always had the best sandwiches and pizza on the north side of Houston. The service has always been good, their prices low, and I love the fact that they will deliver. My personal favorites are the meatball hoagie and the tuna hoagie. The setting is very relaxed and informal. Quite often, they have the front door open to let in the breeze if it is pleasant outside. Its a great place to sit, relax, watch tv, and enjoy a great meal. They might not be in a fancy place, but the food is the best!!

MY REVIEW: Strong Points: 1. Inexpensive 2. Really Good Food 3. They Deliver 4. Prompt Service 5. Laid Back Atmosphere
"Weak" Points 1. Not some fancy schmancy joint.
i usually get in on the carry-out/dine-in coupon that discounts your second sandwich by half. so for about 8 bucks i got a large fries, soda, and two pizza steak sandwiches with extra sauce. these hoagies are a good size, the bread is fresh, and the sandwich is stuffed near overflowing.

MY REVIEW: If you're looking for ambiance, this isn't your place. But, it is by far the best place for Philly-style cheese steaks and hoagies in the Houston area. Growing up in South Jersey, I do consider myself an expert in this narrow subset of the culinary arts. The rolls are good and they never skimp on meat or cheese in their sandwiches. I picked up a "to-go" tray of sandwiches for a recent business luncheon for twenty in The Woodlands. Several of the attendees commented that they were "the best sandwiches they had ever tasted." The pizza is also very good here. Did I mention that it's really cheap, too?

MY REVIEW: Bread was great, fresh from the oven. The meats were thin cut and fresh as well. Only problem I noticed was the amount of mayo and mustard was about 8 times what I normally like. Other than that I'd recommend this place.
