MY REVIEW: This was our first time eating Turkish food and I am glad to say that it wont be the last. The food was simply amazing. We're vegetarians and the options were great. We started out with the large appetizer platter and boy was it large ! We were also served really warm thick breads with olive oil and some kind of a paste that reminded me of pesto. It was absolutely delicious. Our vegetarians entrees were really good too. Service was amazing and the manager was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, a great restaurant.

MY REVIEW: Pasha isn't just a restaurant where you can stop by for a change to try out an alternative cuisine, it's literally the pearl of all Turkish restaurants in the greater Houston area. I come from a restaurant background too, and being a Turk myself I'm a natural expert of the Turkish/Mediterranean cusine. Ever since the first day it opened, Pasha has NEVER disappointed me! The taste and quality of the food is only getting better and better by the day. Pasha's portions are Texas-huge, the kebabs are ALWAYS delicious and juicy --by the way, the mixed grill is a must try-- and the daily-fresh appetizers (called "mezes" in Turkish) will make your mouth water at the first sight. I have sampled all the Turkish restaurants in Houston and can easily say that Pasha is hands down THE BEST of what's around. Obviously they owe their superb quality and fame to the excellent people they employ, and seems like they have the best Turkish chef in the country. Menu prices are very acceptable and there's complimentary goodies like the addictively-great "pide bread" and olive oil-zahter dip. The service is fast --even though Turkish food by nature takes time to cook and prepare-- and the place is full of smiling faces. The owner is very nice and knows many customers by name, and the elegantly decorated, family oriented atmosphere with the soothing Turkish music in the background is sure to satisfy your highest expectations. If you're going to be in the Rice Village area, you HAVE TO stop by! A+.

MY REVIEW: A friend of mine and I went to Pasha restaurant last week, it was our first visit to a Turkish restaurant in Houston. It was a quite suprising that how the food was so delicious. not only the food almost everyting was so good. the food, the service, and the cleanness. We ordered a large mezhe(appetizer) plate and it was like a main course and so delicious. and then he ordered a big turkish pide. I tasted it, it was great, the topping was ground beef with cheese and oven baked. he loved it, because it wasn't pizza but someting even better. I ordered gyro kobab and it was perfect too. we really love this place, we are lookin forward to visit again asap.

MY REVIEW: this restaurant used to be very good when it first opened.
About a month ago, we went there. Food was not warm. We ordered Gyro. It was not a fresh one possibly microwaved. Then we asked ayran. He brought us some and asked us to test it as it may be expired. Then he wanted us to decide. How stupid it is? Then we ordered Turkish Pide a Turkish pizza with ground beef, tomato parsley on it. What he brought was just fried ground beef mixed with cheese on top of pide. We immediately wanted to cancel this meal. He told us (I think also the owner) we have to pay for it. We left the food there, paid and left. I will never go there. Last 2-3 visits it was all empty, no wonder why.

MY REVIEW: Outstanding great food, nice service
My Wife and friends visited Pasha and were thrilled to have dined there. Traditional Turkish music plays overhead as you enjoy the nice ambiance. DELICIOUS food and nice staff. The staff was very friendly and hard working and made sure everything was to our liking. I am hooked on Pasha Meze Platter consisting of dolma, hummus, babagannush, eggplant salad, ezma etc. Everthing on the plate was tasty, I definitely recommend this meze/appetizer plate to everybody. The food is EXCELLENT. Tried soup of the day and Iskender Kebab. Good portion sizes. I can assure you all I will be going back often. Menu offered standard Mediterranean dishes as well as a lot of unique ones. Deserts are authentic Mediterranean. Worth going to if you want a great Mediterranean meal with low cost. Pasha is perfect for a healthy, inexpensive family meal when you don't feel like cooking. The owners are truly wonderful who welcome their guest with a warm mediteranian hospitality. Service is great. They have some of the best kababs, even vegetarian dishes to offer (They can make eggplant taste wonderful). Everything is made fresh and home made including fresh bread (pita) and olive oil sesame mix. I highly recommend to dine there. Keep it up Pasha.

MY REVIEW: The homemade bread and dipping oil is superb. Their atmosphere is beautiful and friendly. The middle-eastern music adds to the experience. For appetizers, the Mezza plate is more than enought to share and each item has a unique flavor. Pasha's stuffed grape leaves are THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. I love lamb and their kabobs and Kofta meatballs are wonderful. Remember to have some Turkish tea and dessert ... both are exquisite. This is some of the best food in town!

MY REVIEW: turkish bread with olive/sesame oil, followed by spectacular turkish pizza with cubed lamb and veggie toppings, and ending with some of the best baklava i've ever eaten, it came with a dollop of cream covered by pieces of pistachio nut. the only thing that wasn't way above average was the beef gyro, it was good but not flavorful. all in all, this is an exceptional restaurant experience we will enjoy repeating, the staff was very, very good also!

MY REVIEW: Very tasty food, reasonable prices and the portions are massive (I always leave with a doggy bag that has enough food in it to cover me for lunch the next day). I have never had any item that I did not enjoy and neither has anyone that I have eaten with here. A bit of advice: save room for the rice pudding.
If you are already in the Village and thinking of going to I*nstanbul Grill, do yourself a favor walk the extra block or two to Pasha.

MY REVIEW: The atmosphere of Pasha's is quite nice. The lunch prices were reasonable, but the meat was not as tender as other Turkish restaurants in town. The bread was served warm and they brought you as much as you want. The hummus was not as good as at I*stanbul Grill, but the yogurt was great.

MY REVIEW: The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced--we always have leftovers. The restaurant is warmly decorated and not too noisy, so it's a good place to visit with friends. The owner is super friendly and welcoming.

MY REVIEW: Great restaurant I never knew about! It's in the village, but I have driven by many times never knowing what it was. I had a lamb shiskabob (sp?) and thought it was wonderful. Humus was great also.
Although the food was great, the service was amazing. The waitstaff was friendly and quick. This is definitely a place I will go again.

MY REVIEW: the food and bread were good, but each large cup of tea was $1.75 and each refill was also $1.75. That's a bit much. We won't be going back.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food and excellent pita with appetizers. The pizza with mozzarella was also superb as well as the other meals. The only problem is that the restaurant is very under air-conditioned making it uncomfortably warm. We'll probably try it again when the weather gets cold.

MY REVIEW: The ambiance, food, prices are all terrific. They have a great vegetarian entree--whose name I cannot remember, but it has tomatoes, peppers and eggs and is wonderful. My carnivorous companions enjoyed the lamb prepared several different ways. The Salmon kebabs were also superb. I'll go back many times.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: very nice atmosphere, great service, good addition to the village
Skip: chicken kabob - next to no taste :(
Try: baba ganoush was great and so was the feta in phyllo "eggroll"; someone in my group got a "pizza" and they loved it (did not like the same thing at I*stanbul Grill)

MY REVIEW: I concur, a very nice ambience as well as good food. Lunch specials for $7.95 consist of soup OR salad plus an entree. If you're a Rice, UH or UT student, bring your ID to get a 15% discount.

MY REVIEW: This is one of the nicest, cleanest and most delicious restaurants in Southwest Houston. Everything on the menu is healthy (grilled or steamed), the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I have been going there 2-3 times a week since they opened, and have never been disappointed!

MY REVIEW: This is a wonderful little restaurant. My husband and I discovered it two weeks ago when we were on our way to the Village for lunch. We enjoyed it so much that we returned a few days later to try out the dinner menu. For the lunch we had the lamb kabob and an order of babaganoush (eggplant dip). Both were excellent. When we returned for dinner, my husband ordered the doner kebab and I had the eggplant kebab. Again, we were not dissapointed. The owner is very nice and welcoming, the restaurant is elegant yet comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable.

MY REVIEW: We loved it!
Our family went on New Years Day (it was open) in the evening. Very pleasant ambience and service. I had the Lamb Saute which was very nice. My three children had different Kabab plates and we cross sampled. All were wonderful.
Of the 5 desserts, two were sold out. Since one was Baklava and we know what that is, we decided to share one serving of each of the other two. One was a really nice cold rice pudding with a bit of Pistachio (?) on the top. The other was pretty hard to describe, but it had something that looked like shreds of pistachio or something on the top. It was also wonderful. The owner came out to see how we like it and we had a very pleasant chat about how the rice pudding is made. A wonderful evening!

MY REVIEW: Great Turkish place. My Turkish friend recomended it to me(he eats there all the time now). Had about 20 people for a birthday dinner. Everything was soooooo good. Tender lamb, juicy chicken kababs and great shawarma like meat. I can go on and on. Baklava is freshly made daily (you can tell the difference). Very hospitable staff. Owner really cares about quality here. The price is very nice too. Very classy cool place. Highly recomended.

MY REVIEW: This quite, cozy restaurant, located just outside the crowded rice village, serves one of the best chicken kebabs (always juicy and mildly spiced, never overly done), Also try chicken adana. Don't forget to wash down the juicy chicken with the yogurt drink (Ayran)
Before leaving rejuvenate urself with turkish tea which is as soothing as the soft turkish music played in the background.
For people with sweet tooth, try the oven baked rice pudding (Sutlac)

MY REVIEW: This place is so clean and the staff is very friendly. I've eaten lunch there a few times, and I will keep going! I can't find one bad thing to say about the place or the food. The lamb is so tender and flavorful it tasted like steak. The shephard salad is very good, as well as the rice. It's on university between greenbriar and morningside. there is ample parking in the back.
