The food was good and the prices, I thought, was fair. Our waitress wasnt bad and the place was clean. We did have a wait of about 10 minutes, but it went by quickly. We put it on our list to revisit, soon. NAME: Randy SUBMITTED: 5/13/2008   LAST VISIT WAS: 05/08 FREQUENCY: Visited once 5003 Garth Rd, Baytown, Texas 77521  281.421.9464 MY REVIEW: I go to this location probably like once in a blue moon but the tuesday that i went we had a pary of 15. we understood it would take a wile to get seated but the waitstaff was very rude about it we informed them that we seen available seating outside and we didnt mind they told us no we were not allowed to go outside. we got there around 545 and we waited about an hour to get seated because we had to talk to a manager. whom sat us outside where we wanted to be seated in the first place our waistress was really nice and that was probably the only thing we were okay with we got seated about 715 probably. and our drinks came out ok and then we waited....and waited...and waited and it was almost 9:00 we did not recieve our food the kinds were hungry and getting cranky we just could not handle waiting any longer we talked to the manager and he told us that the coks made the food in order of which the tickets came in. which was a lie other tables being seated after us received teir food first. and we did not order alot of food so yes everything was very disorganized the waitstaff very rude. i would not be returning here again.oh yes i never did get my food. It was the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time. They first tried to sit us a t a dirty table, I mean crusty dirty when we asked for the table next to it and told the hostess that she might want to have that cleaned she didn't even acknowledge us just moved us to a less dirty table dropped one of the bags of silverware picked it up and put it back on the table. She later sat other people there without ever having cleaned it. The server was so-so not much personality and we waited for ever after receiving an appitezer. She tried to deliver us the wrong food we told her it wasn't ours she carried it around until she gave it to the people that came in after us at the dirty table. we asked her if the basket of fries she had set on our table was theirs and she picked it up and tossed it on a dirty table without saying a word. 15 minutes later I could still hear her in the kitchen begging for our food. While waiting we got to see another show a couple behind us got up to look for their server and I couldn't hear what they wanted but did see here trow up her hands and say she was "OFF" This place sucks and I won't be going back Ever, I Left without eating but paid for my appetizer and drinks. This is the best hangout in all of La Porte. Good wings, good service, drink specials and wing specials. Each booth has its own TV and you can watch the game or play Texas Hold'em or Buzztime Trivia. They also serve a lot more than wings (unlike the other wing places) and you can get them naked, battered or grilled. My favorite place by far. I went to the restaurant on a wednesday and they had $1 margaritas, and trust me, I got my money's worth! They were great tasting and pretty strong. The restaurant finally seemed to be running well. I sat at the bar and the bartender was pretty busy, yet he still managed to get my drinks out on time and my food was hot and tasty. I had great service from him and he was also handsome, it's about time they hired people who are goodlooking and friendly. I'm looking forward to going to BCW again just to see the bartender. I had to ask the waitress AND the server for silverware because there weren't any on the table. I finally went to another table and took some. In the last three months I have return three times hoping that the previous experience was unusual. It wasn't. The wings are consistently lukewarm. The first time I sent them back to be warmed the manager told me every batch was fresh made, but the only way for the wings to have been that cold was for them to have been put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. But the food was better than the service which was and continues to be consistently slow and inattentive. Even when an item is forgotten, like a salad, it was finally delivered after the meal was over adn then the manager expected us to pay for it. BCW is the only place in town to get real wings but I will just have to go elsewhere until I see that they have changed their atitude and quality of food. It was brunch hour and there were a few customers eating. I was doing a take out order and didn't know where to request. No one greeted me at the door, so I went to the bar. As I requested what I wanted. The attendee was not friendly at all. He almost seem that my order to go was a to much to ask. My took longer then expected. When it was ready, it sat at the bar for a while until the attendee called me to inform me that this was my order. Before completing my transaction with him, I didn't get a thank you or come back again. Although, my food was really fabulous. Because of this type of service, I have had to tell my family and friends that service is not great at this resturaunt. They were in the middle of a rennovation and still managed to keep the public areas relatively spotless. I wish I could say the same for the service, but it may simply have been an off day for the wait staff. It too more than ten minutes to get our original drink order, and our glasses stood empty for what seemed to be a truly long time before being refilled. I hope to enjoy their excellent fare with better service on my next visit. The wings are worth a return visit!
