MY REVIEW: You seriously can not find a better Greek restaurant outside of Houston. The food is excellent. Service is outstanding and the owner is friendly. I had the chicken gyro and it was cooked to perfection. The hummus is the best around and prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. My friends and I had our Christmas party here. They let us stay far after we finished our food and we never felt rushed. I am certain that anything you get here will be excellent.

MY REVIEW: WOW...best in the area by far. I had the dolmas (which were fantastic) with a perfect Greek Salad followed with pastitsio. My wife had the skewered port tenderloin with pita bread which she said was also the best. Will be back many more times and can't wait until the new restaurant opens. Opa..........

MY REVIEW: Larry and Tiki have the best Greek restaurant in the Galveston, Houston area. You can't miss with any of the various items on the menu whether they are appetizers or entrees. Their lamb and fresh fish are fabulous. If it is not on the menu, they will accomodate you if they have the ingredients or go get them. We all look forward to the opening of their new restaurant at Harbor House. It will be a fantastic place to visit.

MY REVIEW: True Greek family Hospitality; and the atmosphere and greek food is excellent. The lamb shank is truly the the best in the house. If you want excellent Greek food, the Olympia Grill is the place to go. From the appetizer, saganiki, any Greek food or platter, to the dessert, baklava with walnuts, the Kriticos family has it. The selection of Greek wines from the different regions and islands of Greece is outstanding. They even have Marathon Beer. It's just like being in Greece.

MY REVIEW: I generally get my food to go, but the atmosphere is very homey. It has good service and great food. I recomend the Lamb shanks while my wife recomends the Gyro' platter. It is a family owned business who take the time to talk to you and make sure everything is perfect for your dining experience. If you enjoy Greek food than Olympia Grill is a must.

MY REVIEW: Good, fresh, quality food served in a relaxing atmosphere by a friendly waitstaff. I like the Gyro's while my wife prefers the Mousaka though we both induldge in the specials sometimes too . When we have guests down to the island we take them to the Olympia Grill. Oh, did I mention a clean place with clean restrooms.

MY REVIEW: Get away from the "tourist trap" restaurants and enjoy a truly refreshing meal at Olympia. The seafood and Greek food have always been prepared to perfection, so I have never been disappointed in a meal. The menu has something for everyone ,from vegetarian and healthy eaters to those who just want to "pig out". The atmosphere is great with Greek TV, lots of family pictures plus a wonderful staff. If you like wine, you'll want to check out the wonderful variety on their wine list. They've got it all! A must stop if you're in Galveston and worth the drive from Houston if you're not.

MY REVIEW: Truly one of the best Greek restaraunts I've eaten at in a long time. And not only that: the service is exceptional and the decor is wonderfully unique. The food is outstanding - fresh seafood, hearty greek dishes like moussaka and their roasted lamb shank - and all of it prepared with the customer's health in mind! But no restaraunt is complete without desserts, so they provide some lovely, traditional greek pastries - along with a few non-Greek (but still delicious) desserts.
If you're looking for great service, great food, and owners who really care about your stay - then head over to the Olympia Grill!

MY REVIEW: Without a doubt the most unique dining experience available on the Gulf Coast. The fresh seafood is cooked to perfection and the generous portions leave you satisfied without the weight of more commercialized 'fried' seafood establishments. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the environment casual and the location very convenient for access to anywhere else on the island. Leave room for dessert...the greek pastries are authentic and exquisite. This is a destination for us anytime we're within 90 miles of Galveston.

MY REVIEW: The best Greek food in the greater Houston area. If you are day tripping from the mainland, the perfect place to stop for lunch. The service is great, one of the owners is ever present to make sure your meal met your expectations, and the atmosphere can't be beat. If you are looking for a night out, look out for their Greek nights, usually once a month during the off season. By reservation only, these events bring you into the Greek family for a party. Great food, great atmosphere, a Greek band and dancing--an event you don't want to miss if you like a good time. Highly recommended.

MY REVIEW: When I go out to eat, I want 2 things: atmosphere and good food. The atmosphere at The Olympia Grill is friendly and laid back. The food is the same as what the Athenians eat every day. The Moussaka keeps me coming back for more. The appetizers are generous and so are meal portions. The Kritikos brothers treat you like family. After a day at the beach, this is the place.

MY REVIEW: Olympia Grill serves up great greek food! The hummus is fantastic, and the pita bread served with it is so soft and yummy. I recommend the vegetarian platter, although I think there is some meat in the dolma. Even for non-vegetarians, it's a great meal. You get a little of everything, and it's all really good. The gyro platters are also good. The patstitsio (sp?) is tasty as well. You won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: Great Gyros, seafood specials and Greek cuisine! The owners and staff are very friendly and provide great service. They also have a good selection of Greek wines that are very reasonable. There's plenty of vegetarian and heart healthy items on the menu as well. Great place to eat. Real Greek food from a real Greek family.

MY REVIEW: THE OWNERS, TIKIE AND LARRY ARE THE MOST PERSONABLE GUYS AROUND. THEY GREET ME LIKE A LONG LOST FRIEND AND ARE SINCERELY CONCERNED THAT I HAVE A FULLFILLING EXPERIENCE AT THEIR RESTAURANT. I LOVE THE MOUSAKA AND GREEK SALAD. THE GREEK 'TATERS ARE EXCELLENT. CHECK IT OUT IF HOSPITALITY AND DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC GREEK FOOD IS HIGH ON YOUR LIST.

MY REVIEW: I love this restraunt's food!!!! The hummus and greek salad are awesome. The shrimp sandwhich is really good especially with the homemade tarter sauce. Basically everything I have ever eaten here has been wonderful. The specials are always delightful too!

MY REVIEW: If you're looking for excellent Greek food with a homemade touch, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly, and the owners are almost always present, greeting you either at the door or at your table. Along with going out of their way to make sure you feel at home and are pleased with your meal, the food itself it out of this world. It's healthy and everything tastes great: there's a wide variety for what you want (if you want something SLIGHTLY less Greek...), it's one of the best places for vegetarian food, and is extremely accomodating to allergies or specific needs. I visit and eat there all the time! A great place to go for a nice, romantic date, a casual meeting, or even a family meal.

MY REVIEW: Olympia Grill has the best authentic Greek cuisine in the area. One of the owners, Larry or Tiki, are always in attendance and they can prepare anything that you want the way you like it. Their lamb dishes are out of this world. The grilled oysters and fish dishes are exceptional. You can not go wrong with anything that you select from the menu. They have some really good Greek wines. You always feel welcome and everyone aims to please. Once you go there you will go back and also recommend them to your family and friends.

MY REVIEW: I especially liked the relaxed atmosphere. I did'nt feel rushed even though our food showed up in a very timely manner. My favorite is the generous greek salad with grilled chicken and the hummus is the best I've ever had. They even have a Belly dancer & Live music ,periodically. Wow! I almost feel like I am in a different country with the native tongue spoken from the nearby table. The food is authentic greek, very good. One of the owners always greets you with a smile and a glass of wine , they allow a sampling of their wide selection so you can pick a favorite. The desserts are homemade,a couple more to choose from would be a good addition.I would also like to see a greek dancers night.

MY REVIEW: Incredible food - as authentic as my Greek mother would cook. You get addicted to the quality and spices of the freshly prepared food. And it's healthy! I always see my friends here - enjoying the same perfectly prepared dishes as me.
I strongly encourage you to experience the Greek food and hospitality. Opa!!

MY REVIEW: Without question, the best value on the Gulf Coast. We haven't been disappointed yet, and have sampled nearly everything on the menu. The atmosphere is casual enough for a family and nice enough for a date. We're eagerly anticipating the opening of additional Olympia Grill locations!

MY REVIEW: Have eaten at the Olympian Grille at least once (mostly twice) a month since their opening. Have never had a bad meal. Their wait staff are always smiling. Have not had better food. Just like my mother-in-laws cooking, which is the best Greek Food around. The portions are just right. I highly recommend the grilled Octopus and fried Calamari.

MY REVIEW: My wife and I have enjoyed the food and atmosphere at olympia at least every month since they have opened. We are both greek and it really reminds us of our family cuisine . Well at least dont tell her that, the Zeus platter is one of our favorites since you get to sample a wide variety of dishes.

MY REVIEW: The food is good and reasonably priced. The soup and salad fills you up and is only $6. The lamb shank is pricy at $16, but it is tasty.
The brand of retsina they carry isn't very good, but they have heavy pours for wine. The bottles of pelegrino they sell are much too large for one person.
The atmosphere is very greek, which I found a little overboard, but it's nice if you've never been to a real greek restaurant. The service is inexperienced and not very good. The bathroom was clean and tidy.
I continue to go here frequently because I can get good food to go on my lunch break from work nearby.

MY REVIEW: I have been to Olympia several times now with my wife, friend and once for take-out. My only criticism is the rice. Otherwise, I am very impressed with the quality of the food. I don't think Lima beans have ever ranked in my book but after Olympia they have a new place on my chart. Gyro meat is superb. The salads are fresh and delicious. Fried cheese was presented to us flambe' and I haven't had that since the A*thena was in business on Bissonett in Houston back in the 70's. The staff is attentive and courteous. You order and pickup your food at the counter, but I expect as this fabulous new place expands a full wait-staff will follow.
