MY REVIEW: Used them to cater a party (56 guests). Food was wonderful - everyone raved about it! They were on time, clean and very courteous, excellent food! Excellent staff! Everyone wanted to know where the food came from, a bargain for the price. They also stayed throughout the event and cleaned up. WOW!

MY REVIEW: This place is amazing! I come here at least once a week. Usually on the weekends. The staff is extremely courteous and the manager, Tyler makes you feel extremely welcome. My favorite is their Green Enchiladas. To die for. I never leave comments for restaurants, but this is an exception. Everyone should try it.

MY REVIEW: No one seems to mention the vegetable burrito which is a favorite of my husband, at first sight "HUGE" but packed with multiple vegetables and some, minimal, beans and rice. I like the tortilla soup and fajita taco combo. It's all good.

MY REVIEW: My sister, bro-in-law and I are here most Friday nights. We are New Mexicans who were raised on Northern NM cuisine, loving green (and red) and most frequently eat the green chile chicken enchiladas (with an egg over-easy and sour cream). Outside of N. NM this is the best food anywhere. We still have a few favorite restaurants in NM (which shall remain secrets) but Tyler does a fabulous job @ SF Flats. He hires good wait staff, they are attentive, speedy, courteous and not intrusive. If we could just persuade him to carry Shiner Black on tap again our joy would exceed all bounds. But, Shiner Bock is an acceptable substitute until...

MY REVIEW: Last week, my family and I ate here and I ordered a Fajita Burger for the first time. It was delicious-lots of pico de gallo and avocado. We eat here evry couple of months and really enjoy the patio and the service. Today, I had the luxury of going out to lunch by myself. I was craving the fajita burger and I saw on the website that the lunch version was 1.25 cheaper. It was such a nice day, I decided to treat myself and have lunch(and a margarita,of course), on the patio. When I got my burger, the fries were underdone, as they were the last time. No big deal. The burger did not have as much pico de gallo as the last time, so I asked for a little extra. Santa Fe Flats has a free salsa bar with all kinds of "fixins", but pico de gallo must be something special because I was charged 1.50 for a small ramekin that was mostly white onions. A free salsa bar, but a ramekin of pico de gallo is extra? Give me a break. Not only that, I was charged 8.50 at lunch for my burger, when the website says $7.25. That's just annoying. We enjoy this restaurant and I think the patio, especially when there is music, cannot be beat. Still, today was a bit of a disappointment. Soggy fries and a burger that didn't match my previous experience. It won't keep me from returning, but I am a bit peeved. Plus, their margaritas could be a bit less sweet. Also, I asked for no beans on the burger, so I think they could have spotted me the tiny bit of pico de gallo in its place.

MY REVIEW: My family has been going to this restaurant for many years now. Great food - especially like the green chile enchiladas, Santa Fe burrito, tilapia wrap, taco salad, house salad and the fish tacos. Great lunch choices too! The house dressing is very good! It's all good!

MY REVIEW: Santa Fe Flats has been on our list of restaraunts to visit, and it was a hit. Very unique place. My husband and I had the Flautas for an appetizer, and they were freshly made. The salsas were very flavorful as well. I had the combo fajitas, and they were by far the best I have had. My husband loves green chile and had the Green chile enchiladas. He wanted to get some to go they were that good. Our waiter, Ricky was every bit of attentive and very pleasant. We also enjoyed the patio, as the there was a slight breeze the other night, and the inside was full. We will be back for sure.

MY REVIEW: My wife and I have always loved the unique & wonderful food here. It has been a while, far too long, so we headed from 290 up Jones for our "Santa Fe Flats fix". We arrived before around 5:40 PM, were promptly seated and had a wonderful waitress. She brought out the chips and salsa & even both enchilada sauces for me to compare. (I always get the stacked green ones.) We NEVER recieved our orders. My wife had commented that it was sure taking a long time. Not much later, our waitress came and apologized for the delay and said the food would be out soon.
People who were seated seconds before us had already finished. A customer who arrived 10 minutes or so after we arrived was almost finished. My wife asked to speak to a manager. She never arrived. They did comp her margarita, but they could not find the manager. After 50-55 minutes, we left. We have taken friends and family here. We have highly recommended this place. I did so again last week & 2 weeks before that.
If the chips and salsas are any indication, the food is still wonderful. But something is amiss. When we left, about 6:35, the resturant, normally packed, was still almost empty. It may be that others shared our latest experience. We feel CERTAIN it was NOT the fault of our server. As we have had many wonderful experiences here, we would have preferred to express our problem with the manager on duty. No one could find her.

MY REVIEW: I was looking for a new place to eat in our area, and thought the reviews of this place sounded good. So, my husband, 6-yo son and I went here for an early dinner on a Friday evening. The place was not crowded, and we were warmly greeted when we came in. We requested a booth and were given one with no problem.
My husband is trying to not eat red meat, and there were plenty of options for him. He ordered the tilapia wrap, which he said was better than the fish tacos at B*ud & Alleys in Seaside, FL, which is high praise, indeed. My son had the kids burrito, which he didn't like, but he was in a picky mood. I had the carne asada, and asked for the red chile sauce on the side. I was glad I had asked for the sauce on the side because I'm not that big of a fan. I had a little of it, and it was good (very smoky flavor and just a little heat), but the beef itself was so amazing, I think the sauce couldn't do it justice. The steak was tender and flavorful. It was like eating an excellent sirloin at a top restaurant. Best carne asada I have ever tasted.
We also had the tableside guacamole, which was delicious (as good as any I have made at home, and better than most regular restaurant guacamoles). The atmosphere is very nice, and doesn't feel like you are in a strip mall. It was way too hot to eat on the patio, but we cannot wait to come back when the weather is nice and try it. It is screened from the busy highway outside and looks very inviting. We are definitely putting this place on our list of favorites in the 'burbs!

MY REVIEW: Santa Fe Flats is a must stop on my trips to Houston, We have some great restaurants in Dallas but nothing like Santa Fe Flats. We have loved New Mexico food since our introduction to this unique cuisine during a ski trip to Taos twenty years ago. We have eaten at the best and the best known (not the same) New Mexico restaurants serving the State's justly acclaimed dining fare. Santa Fe Flats is the best of the best. My first visit to Santa Fe Flats was in December 2009. Each of my visits since have been as delightful and rewarding as my first. I'm writing this review as a form of saying thanks for the consistently good food and service. I'll be seeing you soon Tyler.

MY REVIEW: Tableside guacamole, seafood enchiladas, queso... all wonderful! Margaritas were very good too, with plenty of tequila. The patio is great, with live music every time I've visited. You may have to wait for a table on the patio, but I highly recommend it.

MY REVIEW: ok, I never post a review and I guess I really should however since I've eaten at Santa Fe Flats i want to tell everybody about this place. I live in the Galleria and found this place about 2 years ago and still drive to 249 and Louetta for the great food and service. I've told my friends about it and they all agree, our biggest problem is trying to figure out what's our favorite dish!! If you like burgers, they have the best green chili burger I've ever had!! I never thought this place would have the best burgers in town...and Weds they are on special!! Make the drive, you'll understand why we all do.

MY REVIEW: I cannot come close to accurately describing how amazing Santa Fe Flats is. I got as often as I can. The portion sizes are just right ... I'm never hungry and I rarely have much left (maybe just a few beans or a little rice.) My personal favorite is the shrimp enchiladas. The cheese are great, too! My absolute favorite thing they serve is the green salsa. I don't know what's in it, but it's addictive. I tend to buy 3 or 4 pints of it to go, and it's not unusual for it to be gone in 2 days ... and I'm not sharing.
If you're driving by and wonder if you should take a chance, the answer is YES. You will not be sorry. Santa Fe Flats is by far my favorite restaurant in all of Houston.
