MY REVIEW: This has to be hands down the best asian cuisine I've had in a while. Me and my fiance went there on a whim we were craving chinese food and there it was right there off the SW freeway. First walking in it looked empty so I was a little hesitant to eat there. My fiance asked a customer about the place she said she comes there all the time. So we ordered sweet and sour chicken and general tso's chicken with a side of egg rolls. Everything was perfect. I am a very picky eater when it comes to asian cuisine. They hit everything on the money. It's small and intimate. Everyone there is nice. I've been there twice this week. Please give it a try.

MY REVIEW: For those who say Phat Ky isn't authentic Vietnamese, they're only partially right by default. That's mostly due to the fact that as a Vietnamese who has been back to Vietnam, NOTHING on the American soils can truly constitute "authentic", so please use it with that in mind. But I can say of all the proclaimed "Vietnamese" food here in Houston, Phat Ky is the most authentic. If you're telling me K*im Son is authentic, please shoot me in my foot and let me check my lineage again, because last I ate there, there food is a blend inspired by some Vietnamese, Chinese and even European.

MY REVIEW: If you like General Tso's chicken...it is here. The soup as an appetizer is nice. Most of the Vietnamese dishes are good. The service is quick. But what brings me back is the SPRING ROLLS! That SAUCE is the BEST in the whole SOUTHWEST! BELIEVE me, I have tried all the hole in the wall places. PHAT KY has the best! They call them soft rolls here though.

MY REVIEW: Anyone that thinks this place has the best Vietnamese food out there must not have had much Vietnamese food in their life. The quality of the food here is a 4 on a scale of 1-10. But they have one thing going for them, and that's that they are the only Vietnamese food around the area. K*im Son is a little better, but still not the best. If you want to try authentic and simply really good Vietnamese food, I suggest some place like T*an T*an or S*inh S*inh. But if you are in a bind and just want quick fast and local, Phat Ky will somewhat satisfy the craving.

MY REVIEW: This is my favorite lunch spot. I got turned on to this place by my co-workers. The lunch specials are unbeatable, If you go for lunch, go on a Monday, Wed. or Friday the soup that comes with the meal is the best! They also serve the best bowl of Pho!

MY REVIEW: I adore Phat Ky. It has the best authentic vietnamese food. Portions are plentiful and the food is always served perfect. I try to go at least once a week.

MY REVIEW: The best General Tso chicken out there. Take advantage of the lunch specials, they are not to be passed up. Cheap, affordable, delicious & worth the visit.

MY REVIEW: It's a beautiful restaurant but a bit noisy at their busy hours. Friendly staff. They give very large amounts of food unless you order to go then they can be hesitant to give you sides. The prices are reasonable and they have lots of parking.

MY REVIEW: This place is pretty good.They serve some of the best chinese food i have ever eaten.The service varies depending on the day, but most of the time if u get the right waiter/waitress they wil treat u right. The lunch specails are great and have very afordable.

MY REVIEW: The seafood dishes are very FRESH and DELICIOUS here! My favorites are steamed fish w/ginger, green onions in soy sauce, clay pot entrees, seafood bird nest, and pleny others. They serve AUTHENTIC Chinese/Vietnamese meals, and the service is great depending on the day or if they're not too busy. Even so, the dishes are reasonably priced and GREAT!

MY REVIEW: Definitely one of the best places in Houston to enjoy authentic Vietnamese/Thai/Chinese food! Introduced to us by our best friends that live in Houston (we travel in from Corpus Christi to visit!) Try the fried Vietnamese egg rolls wrapped up in the lettuce leaf and dipped in a special sauce, or the fried calamari dipped in the lemon vinegar sauce! Everything is delicious. Service is sometimes kind of slow, but food is well worth the wait! Location is close to the Southwest Freeway so easy access and easy to find. Can't wait to travel to Houston to eat there again.

MY REVIEW: We discovered this place a couple of years ago when our Vietnamese hair stylist recommended this place to us for the steamed fish. It was my wife's birthday and she loves steamed fish..Chinese style! Well..we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the atmosphere...compared to a lot of the places in SW Chinatown, was very nice and clean!!

The food prices are very reasonable compared to a place like K*im Son..which in my opinion is overpriced and not anywhere as good as this place! The steamed rice here is always fresh and the food is cooked to order and served quickly! If you visit this place on the weekends be prepared for a crowd because among the asian community it's definitely popular! If you're looking for a place with fantastic Chinese food and are just plain tired of buffets..check Phat Ky out..and ask for Carol..she's the best waitress there! She'll take care of you!!
