MY REVIEW: I love this place! Great atmosphere... friendly staff... and FANTASTIC ice cream!!! Also, a wonderful plus is that all of the profits go to support a great cause, non-profit Houston Works USA. (teachs young people job and entrepreneurial skills). But.. back to the main thing; Ice Cream.
Something like 36 flavors... with a lot of them chocolate and specials everyday. My favorite day is Wednesdays when all frozen drinks are $3.00 after 2 pm. That's when I have my "Chocolate Addiction". I admit it; I'm addicted to Ben & Jerry's.

MY REVIEW: Friendly staff, yummy ice cream. Staff goes out of their way to please a customer--even had a "call list" if you were asking about Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream flavor, which they just found a few pints of earlier this week. To give the customers an idea of what Americone tasted like, they created a sundae. What other place would do that? It also helps they have the vegan-friendly sorbet flavors, which means both my sister and I can get ice cream at the same time!

MY REVIEW: Great place to people watch. Close to the action, always busy! The B&J ice cream is normal, price is about normal for premius ice cream.
This place is really small and worth the wait. Fun, and lots to watch, just outside the front door.

MY REVIEW: I don't know if we are talking about the same place, but the Ben & Jerry's at Kirby is one of the few ice cream shops in town with ample seating. I haven't seen another ice cream shop with 8 tables inside and another 9 outdoors. Small selection? B*askin Robbins has 31 flavors, this Ben & Jerry's has 36 flavors. As for the price, yes, it is a little more expensive than BR, but then again, you get what you pay for. If you don't want artificial flavors or colors and rather have the best all-natural ingredients, then Ben & Jerry's is the place to go!

MY REVIEW: The ice cream is classic B&J, but that's about as far is it goes. Not enough parking is a problem. The store has little seating unless you want to sit outside in the heat, breathing exhaust fumes, at the two or three tables. The selection is small, scoops are clearly smaller than those at B*askin Robbins, and the prices higher. All together, it's a much poorer value. The nod for ice cream out has to go to BR. I'll buy my B&J at the store.

MY REVIEW: I miss the decor of the old Dolce e Freddo, but not the ice cream which always seemed watery and not very outstanding. Ben and Jerry's is as advertised. One could save money by picking up a quart at the grocery store, there isn't any payoff to the actual ice cream here as opposed to store bought. But, if one wants to go, just for the opportunity to get out of the house, then one has to contend with lack of parking, etc.
If one makes the trip here, plan to get something that you can't eat at home, a shake, a sundae, etc.

MY REVIEW: Lack of parking out front, counter and sitting area too crowded when busy, and cashier/coffee guy too slow. On the other hand, the ice cream was excellent as always. Good variety of flavors and an ample amount of "scoopers" behind the coolers. I will definitely be back, just not at peak hours.
