The selections of food is awesome,,,plenty and appetizing. Also, the owners and staff are very friendly and generous. In fact, the restaurant was open and free buffet for everyone on Tues., Sept. 16th, after the hurricane IKE...generators were running the place. Most, if not all, Filipino restaurants in Houston are calenderias. This one is pretty good. Waitstaff if very helpful and seekd to please. The place is great for families and has high chairs. The kaldereta is good as are the tapas. It would be nice to see better grilled items. They are opening a new "You buy/We Fry" soon in the same complexe. We'll check it out. Its closer to my home. The buffet is great and for a Filipino restaurant the environment is cleaner and a little more comfortable (still a little packed in). The buffet is large and authentic unlike G*old Ribbon. And like previous reviews the good thing is that their food is replenish frequently and fresh. Not too much caked on or empty trays. Service is one of the best for a Filipino restaurant. The staff is very helpful. Their hours are a little off. Many times I've went there cause I had that wanting in my mouth for Filipino only to find them closed. I think they close at 7:00 in the evening. A little too eary I think.
