MY REVIEW: I LOVE THEIR FOOD!!!!!!!!!1 I have been coming here since my sophomore year of high school and I'm now in college and still enjoy coming here.! I LOVE the restaurant!!! It is very friendly and has a great family atmosphere to it!!! I always look forward to my friday and sunday night dinner here. This is the best chinese restaurant I have ever encountered(out of 50 I've tried!!! And the food is REAL chinese people who make it(no offence). They have both American chinese food menus and a menu written in CHINESE.
I just have to say that, I LOVE THIS PLACE!~

MY REVIEW: After reading all of the positive reviews, I just had to go try it for myself. The main dish that I was looking to try was the Jabong (Spicy Korean Seafood soup). It was excellent! This dish alone is worth the trip back. It is the best Jabong that I have had in Houston. The outside of the building is not all that great, but the interior is quaint and very clean. Definitely worth a try! I will be back.

MY REVIEW: This place has been here for years now after quite a few other places could not make a go of the location. They do a good job. We've been getting take out here for years - always good and always a good price. Recently they've added several fried fish items to the menu - not Chinese at all but very, very good. We find that we have been getting the 3 piece flounder dinner every couple of weeks. Give it a try, you'll like it.

MY REVIEW: I was craving for fried rice and some hot and sour soup today. After did some searching, I decided to give 3 Dragon Café a try. I ordered their famous crawfish fried rice and the hot and sour soup. The fried rice has a lot of crawfish in it. The flavor is very good. The consistence is good as well. I request them to make it a little spicy for me. You get a lot of fried rice for $7.99. I am not a fan of crawfish but I do like their fried rice. Next time I probably will just stick to shrimp fried rice instead. The hot and sour soup is not hot nor sour enough for me. I guess I have to add my own pepper and vinegar myself. A large soup for $3.50 that is another great deal.

MY REVIEW: I eat lunch here at least once every other week and have been for about four years. I enjoy thawing myself out on the open porch after freezing in an overly air conditioned office.
I always order the same thing-- the spicy tangy chicken combo. I think I ordered the chicken curry one time and didn't like it.
The place has definitely changed over the years, some good, some bad, but the foot has been consistent in my experience. There was some badly needed new furniture placed in the last year or so.
Over the last several months, particularly, I've thought about dropping it off my "lunch route." While the food is still as good as ever, the lack of cleanliness is just getting too much to ignore. It is obvious that no-one has bothered to wipe down the soda machine in months. The untensils don't look all that clean, etc., etc. If so little attention is paid to what the customer sees, it makes me worry about what is going on in the kitchen.
I hate to give up the food, but...

MY REVIEW: After nearly giving up on the Chinese addiction I've had since birth i decided to check out what the internet would suggest. Much to my surprise and located in the last place i would have found myself during a midnight craving Three Dragons Cafe was introduced into my life, LOL. After many failed attempts of satisfying my husband and I's quest for good food I will never eat at another Chinese restaurant other then Three Dragons. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing and very friendly. These days every penny counts so i would have to give them props for the quantity without pinching my wallet. I will definitely be visiting again and anyone in Houston would be out of their mind not to take my word the THREE DRAGONS CAFE is the best Chinese restaurant in HOUSTON.

MY REVIEW: Please note that my last review of this place was done on 4/4/2008 and please note that I LOVED the place...
I am very dissapointed with my last 4 visits. Eggrolls are so greasy, that I've bitten into them and there is a puddle of grease. Same with teh crab ragoons, even their fried wontons are awful now. I don't know what has happened to the restaurant in the past few months, but the quality of food has declined significantly.
In addition to poor food, their service has gotten terrible (keep in mind that their service consists of the person taking your order). My last visit there, I decided to just try the drive through. Took a long-long time before someone came to the window to take my order. I got home, ate my crawfish fried rice (used to be my favorite) and was just dissapointed. The rice was kind of hard, as if it wasn't cooked all the way.
Again, I'm very dissapointed in how their food quality has declined. I think giving them 4 chances to get backk "up to speed" was very fair. They have lost what was a frequent customer.

MY REVIEW: I've recently discovered this place and I LOVE it. You order at the counter, have a seat and they bring you your food. There are no actual waiters, just the people at the register and behind the counter, but the service is great.
I'm originally from New Orleans. I had a favorite Chinese food restaurant that I would visit atleast twice a week. I've had trouble finding a favorite Chinese food place here in Houston, until I found 3 Dragons.
Crawfish fried rice - My favorite! I like how they add little slices of zucchini and red bell peppers to the rice. Makes it different.
Vegetarian Stir Fry - Very good. Mild. If you prefer something stronger, try the curry stir fry. Someone had it at the table next to mine and it smelled real good.
Wonton soup - Very very good.
Veggie egg rolls - Crispy on the outside, not greasy at all.
Fried wontons - I actually LOVE friend wontons and not many places have them.

MY REVIEW: Don't know why there are so many bad reviews of this place, but I've loved it for years. Great to eat at (especially since they have a porch and smoking is banned indoors in Houston nowadays), and their delivery service is punctual and polite. Service is always excellent, and I love their hot and sour soup.

MY REVIEW: I ordered the Kung Po Chicken combo and a small cup of Hot & Sour Soup for take-out. It was just pretty bad. The seasoning was so generic, barely spicy for a Kung Po dish. The soup was very salty. The rice, fried wontons, and soup didn't seem very fresh. Don't waste your time going here.

MY REVIEW: Having been there once before and having a terrible experience, I hesitated to go back but I did. Several post after mine claimed how good it was so I thought perhaps I had gone on just an off day. Maybe the owner or chef was out or something .
Well guess not, my second was just as bad as the first time. Both myself and my wife had the sweet/sour chicken, egg rolls but same as before, lots of oil/grease, not fresh, think it had been under the warming lights for sometime.
There will not be a third time.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. This is the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I always get the Sesame Chicken and it is amazing. The egg rolls are Awesome too! I always get delivery and they are very fast. I crave this place all the time and I don't even like Chinese food that much. You can tell the chicken is of good quality.

MY REVIEW: I live in the area and have always drove past this place. Last night I drove thru and could not believe the great smells, friendliness and helpfulness. I had the biggest egg roll I have ever seen (they should call these Texas size) wonderful! Pepper steak was wonderful! I will be back to sample more delicasies!

MY REVIEW: As I wrote last year, this is a local Chinese restaurant with great food!!! Seeing only one comment since my review last year, you must give this place a try; even though the last review was negative.
Obviously, you can have bad food or service anywhere at any time, but I can say that this place will "make it right". Their staff is very friendly and obviously he did not ask for a new egg roll.
A year later, I still go here for lunch and the last person should give them another chance...THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!

MY REVIEW: By all the 'good' reviews I was expecting better. If so many think this was the best then... well maybe the management is writing their own reviews.
Very very greasy food. Oil actually ran out of the eggrolls. All the chicken dishes seem to be the same batter fried pieces with just a different sauce over it. No imagination at all. Sorry but just not a place I would recommend nor go back to. My wife and family were as disappointed as I was.
