MY REVIEW: This takes me back to N*ick and Vito's on Calumet in Chicago, which was always a treat when visiting grandma. If you want thin and crispy pizza, this is the place to go.

MY REVIEW: Living in Kingwood for 15 years, this was my first time visiting this joint with a group of friends. It was not too large but quaint and comfortable. I ordered the meatball sandwich and lasagna and was it hot from the kitchen and extremely delicious. Everyone from my group of about 25 people were all enjoying their menu selection. Allot of smiles as they were chowing down.

There are still few places where the owner comes out to greet you and make you feel right at home and this place made us feel welcomed. The service was top notch and will definitely visit again.

MY REVIEW: Excellent thin crust. We get the veggie pizza and then add pepperoni, wierd I know but it ends up being what all we like. Service was just so so. We had a three year old with us and they had no milk which I just think is unacceptable on a Friday night in the suburbs! What we've done since then is just order the pizza and then go pick it up. The thin crust survives the ride home without getting soggy and is tasty and good, plus we always have plenty of milk!

MY REVIEW: I can vouch for the Chicago style thin crust. It's real good and authentic. For what it's worth I spent years working in Chicago pizza joints and know a good Chicago style when I see one. The thin crust is very crispy and flavorful and when talking to an employee I found they cook their pizza in the same type of oven you would find in Chicago. The only thing missing from this place is the tough guys you'd find running a joint like this in Chicago.

MY REVIEW: This place is great. I order the thin crust pizza and it is always fantastic. More expensive than the regular delivery pizza, but well worth it.

Chili-M@c is great as well.
GREAT PIZZA, every time!

MY REVIEW: Being from Chicago, I am always looking for "GOOD" pizza. I came across this place shortly after I moved to Kingwood. I love their thin crust. The thinner the better in my book. I tried the deep dish once.....definitly would not recommend to anyone. This is NOT chicago deep dish.

MY REVIEW: I am from Chicago, so I thought I would try this place.I went there thinking I would get a real Chicago deep dish, as the sign claimed. Well I was very disapointed. I don't know where in Chicago I would get a pizza like that except maybe pizza h*ut. It was like a thick spongy, mushy mess. I also had a thin crust. The sauce did not have any flavor what so ever. This is not Chicago pizza, they need to take that sign down. I will not return.

MY REVIEW: After reading so much about this place and their great Chicago style pizza, I decided to order one for carry-out. I think these folks should be prohibited from associating their pizza w/ the great windy city pies. The crust tasted like cardboard, the sauce had no taste, very little cheese - we never found the mushrooms. What an insult to G*ino's, U*no's and C*onnies in the south side of Chicago. Not going back -- I'd rather buy cardboard w/ the $15.50 I wasted on a medium dip dish at this place.

MY REVIEW: J.Christophers is by far the best Pizza in the area. Now it doesn't taste like pizza in Naples Italy which is where pizza comes from...not Chicago, but it comes close! Both locations are good. I Love to see family run businesses successful! Beats chains anyday in my book!

MY REVIEW: I've been here in the Pizza wasteland that is Houston for about 10 years, and in all that time have never been able to find a decent pizza. Well, until yesterday, when I checked out J. Christopher's on Atascocita Road. I grew up in the Chicago area, and was intrigued by the claim of Chicago-style pizza. I stopped in for a carry-out menu, and ordered a couple of hours later from a friend's house. The four of us were overwhelmed by the great deep-dish pizza! It really is just like being home in the Chicago area.

Now if the B*rennans would only open a location in the Clear Lake area where I live, I'd be a very happy man.

MY REVIEW: I have lived in Kingwood all my life and J Christophers is my favorite restaurant on the planet. I have craving for their meat sauce. My favorite dishes are the raviolis, tortellini, mozzarella cheese sticks, and of course...the thin crust famous chicago style pizza (better in the restaurant than delivered but both are great). If you go at primo lunch/dinner time you can expect to wait a little (usually not too long) but it is worth it. I would recommend the meat sauce to any others which are just ok in my opinion. Also, the salad croutons are homemade and sooo good. The service is usually pretty good. The people who work there are all really sweet everyone has bad days. They really remember the costumers who come often which is really cool considering how popular the place is. So be prepared to maybe wait a little and have the best food ever!

MY REVIEW: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE!!!! This was our first time visiting their new location on Atascocita/Timber Forest (I think it's the new Eagles Nest Shopping Strip). We were seated within probably 10 minutes (not too bad), then we ordered drinks about 2-3 min after being seated; then our waiter disappears for about 20 minutes before he finally came by to take our order. We wanted to try their deep-dish pizza but were told in a very unapolagetic manner that they "were out of deep-dish", we were offered no reason as to why. Very odd, how do you run out of deep-dish...we were soon to find out because the guests at a nearby table ordered one and were told the same thing, they asked how it was possible to run out of deep-dish and were told that theirs was pre-made(what???) and they'd run out of them. Another couple seated nearby decided to leave after getting the same story from the waiter. To make a long story short, the waiter was not very attentive, came by to offer tea refills once, took forever to take care of the check, at that point we were dying to get out of there. By this time, we'd been there since about 7:00pm and it was now about 9:45pm!!! Needless to say, we will not be returning, the service was HORRIBLE, the food so-so. I can understand that they are just opening up, but at least make sure your staff is trained well and knows what customer service is all about.

MY REVIEW: Our first visit was EXTREMELY disappointing. We had called in an order and were advise it would be 20-25 minutes for it to be done. After waiting 45 minutes there, the order had still not been completed.

It was only until we pressed the "manager" (Brennan) that he advised they were "behind" and it would only be another 5 - 10 minutes. We opted for a refund. Brennan offered no apology or alternative.

The reviews of their food may be good, but we never had a chance to find out. I doubt we will be giving them a second chance.
