MY REVIEW: This was easily the worst restaurant I have ever been to. That is not something I say lightly, as I know all restaurants have off days and I understand that waitstaff are people too. That being said, we took a party of four for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant smelled musty, and the AC wasn't working well. The sole waiter was smoking, and the smell wafted over onto our table (very small area, very stinky brand of cigarettes). The iced tea tasted like coffee, there was no carbonation in the Diet Coke. Our appetizers took over 45 minutes to arrive, and we were the only people in the restaurant for much of the time. Our waiter kept interrupting our conversation with long explanations about the poor service, which didn't ring true and which also didn't excuse the long wait. We asked for more bread, and it turned out to be the only truly edible thing we ate there. My pasta with chicken was disgusting. The pasta was over cooked, the chicken was spongy, the green olives were the cheap kind out of a jar, and there was no taste other than spongy chicken and mushy pasta with some nasty bitter bottled Italian dressing served on it. It tasted like bad hospital food-- bland and soggy. My companions had similar meals. The stuffed avocado and stuffed tomato got the following response: "I don't think I've eaten that much mayonise in a long time." The chef salad? The best thing about that was "the iceberg lettuce was fresh". But there was no ham on it, because they were out of ham. They were also out of many of their appetizers. Oh, I forgot the coconut shrimp. Here's what I imagine the recipe to be: defrost six medium to small cocktail shrimp. Microwave until rubbery. Put on plate with cocnut from bag, some coconut milk, and some watered down tapioca pudding. Present with flair and serve lukewarm. Ugh.

The pastries, from which the "Bakery" part of the name must derive, were also lacking. We were offered the dizzing array of-- two choices. Strawberry whipped cream was just dream whip, stale yellow pound cake and strawberries.

The food is bad, service is bad, atmosphere is bad, and the prices are extremely high for what you get. I urge you to go elsewhere.

MY REVIEW: I have been to amore 3 different times now. it is wonderful!!!! Ive had 2 different sea food specials (Recomended by my waiter Mark) that were just out of this world. The 3rd time I had a filet that was topped with baby blue cheese that was cooked to perfection. But what impressed me most was the service Mark was OUTSTANDING and each time both the owner and a lady who I assume was the manager (beautiful by the Way) visited my table. If you want servuce and a romantic atmosphere go here you wont regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!
