MY REVIEW: My wife took me to Bistro 2575 on my birthday last week (12/15). Pretty lousy service, only one waiter being present. With three tables and one take out order, the take out order taking priority over the three tables??? Had the shrimp & mussels dish with lemon. It was really bad.... and too heavily salted. My wife had the snapper filet and pasta which was a more enjoyable meal. This was a very disappointing visit.... and will certainly be our last!

MY REVIEW: Truly the best kept secret in Houston. The food is outstanding--fine dining at modest prices. Ambience, fabulous food, awesome waitstaff combine a great dining experience. Your palate will be completely satisfied. Everything is delicately cooked to perfection. Can't wait to get back in town to enjoy a tantilizing meal. Hadi---You're terrific. See you next week.
Don't miss this 5***** happening.

MY REVIEW: First visit. A birthday dinner...What a great discovery! All the other reviews are right on. Not busy on a Tuesday night, too bad for the folks that weren't there. "Everyone" must have been @ Minute Maid to see The Astros. What a lovely & quiet place. You walk into another world from busy Dairy Ashford. We had the crab cakes, spinich salad, & the snapper with mashed potatoes, just crunchy enough veggies. Yum. We shared the bread puddiing. Hadi waited on us. He's delightful & interesting. We had his grandmother's (recipe) homemade bread. My goodness it was goood! Don't miss this. We came from the Galleria area....not too far to go for this! We hear there's a great guitar player Friday & Sat. Another trip will be planned.

MY REVIEW: We were on first-name terms with the original 2575 owners but had been disappointed the first time we went back after it changed hands. However, positive reviews on this website tempted us back last week. The food and service were both extremely good but we were puzzled to find the restaurant no longer offered wine - something to do with the license. This prompted a dash to Spec's for a bottle of red to accompany our delicious main courses. Can't fault the food here at all but we thought it was a bit cheeky to charge $10 corkage - especially for a screw-top bottle of wine which we opened ourselves. But we will be back.

MY REVIEW: Great food, excellent service, not much of a crowd and that is a bummer. Hopefully others will try this place, it is now one of our favorites, and we eat at a lot of restaurants.

MY REVIEW: What a wonderful find in Southwest Houston !! Atmosphere, once you are in, is delightful. The snapper as well as the filet was superb. Service very attentive and the price for the quality is outstanding. We will most certainly visit again. Can't wait to try the soup, salad, and dessert. It is a little difficult to find but well worth the look. A great place to eat and relax.

MY REVIEW: Very nice surprise for a Tuesday lunch...the atmosphere was quiet & intimate. Our entrees were exceptional and the service top notch. I had a Chicken penne pasta dish with corn, tomatoes & black beans that was yummy! My friend ordered a garlic marinara dish that was also quite tasty. The bread was incredible... tasted as though it came straight from the bakery!! I recommend this quaint spot for a date night or a nice relaxing lunch. We plan to return soon.

MY REVIEW: We had dinner at this unassuming restaurant recently and enjoyed the food accompanied by excellent service. The spinach salad, with a subtle rasberry dressing, was delightful. The med-rare filet over mashed potatoes was cooked just right and very tender. My rack of lamb was also prepared med-rare and was covered in a delicious provancel herb sauce/crust. The oven roasted potatoes were slightly overcooked for my taste and might be improved with the addition of some appropriate spices. The squash was lost on the plate and would have benefitted from a shorter cooking time. Desert was declined due to the liberal entree portions. We would definitly recommend this restaurant to friends.

MY REVIEW: What a wonderful surprise to find this gem of a restaurant in a nondescript strip center at the corner of Dairy Ashford & Westheimer. The food was superb! My husband and I had recently returned to Houston from a long trip to Europe and in comparison to the amazing pastas, fish, and lamb we had eaten in Europe, Houston's dining scene was a disappointment. Bistro 2575 renewed our faith! Both of our entrees were delicious (fish and lamb), exquisitely prepared and presented. The salads were also imaginative and delicious. Our appetites and tastebuds were so satisfied after the salads and entrees that neither of us had room for dessert (although the desserts sounded wonderful, too). I urge you to try Bistro 2575; you will not be disappointed! It's absolutely worth the drive.

MY REVIEW: We stopped for lunch on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised. The lamb chops and cajun red snapper were oversized and EXCELLENT. Poblano soup and the calamari were very good. The portions were too large so we took a lot home. The service and atmosphere were off the charts: wonderful music and an attentive friendly staff. We'll be back and try to save room for one of the first two desserts.

MY REVIEW: First visit late Saturday evening. Very few partons at that hour but the ambience, service and food were excellent. Spinich salad was a standout.

MY REVIEW: I wanted to find a returant that would be 'different', with ambients, quiet, which had atmosphere. Bistro 2575 appealed to me. I liked the name. It took me out of Houston and added some deapth and culture to FAST...LETS EAT...
It was our 16th wedding anniversary. I was so impressed. 2575 Bistro was everything I wanted. Quiet, excellent food, a dining experince.
It is located in a stipe center which may throw you off: do not let it. That is what I loved the most...you walk in the door and you are out of Houston and find yourself in a new place. There is a very talented, guitar artist in the bar entertaining the patrons, with just an eloguent music to add to conversation. He is so talented, and when you REALLY listen, he was born to play, it is a gilt. Well. I loved that...but it did not stop there.
We ordered the crab cakes.. excellent. Our entres were spactacular. I oreded the snapper...it was prepared and accompanied by 'perfection'. I am VERY choosy when it comes to food...I was so impressed.
The serving was ample, but so good I had to eat it all. I am 5'6" and weigh 115. I am very aware of my food choices.
If you want to get away, have an experience...Bistro 2575 would be your chose. Enjoy...we did.

MY REVIEW: My date and I dined here on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was very relaxing and intimate. Although there were others in the restaurant, we were able to have a quiet conversation without others' conversations intruding. The bacon wrapped shrimp and steak were excellent, so was the service.

MY REVIEW: Wonderful blueberry salad, rolls (special recipe) and service. A weekday lunch was served on white table cloths and good quality glassware. The daily special sounded good for only $9.95 but we just wanted a snack. Best restaurant in this neighborhood. As they were not too busy, the manager came over and visited with us. We will return.

MY REVIEW: My boyfriend and I ate there for lunch today. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The lunch menu has a variety of items that all looked wonderful! All were reasonably priced. We had the tomatoe/basil soup (a little heavy on the garlic for us), the blueberry/spinach salad (very good) and the special of the day... a crab-stuffed flounder with veggies and pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great! The staff is welcoming and courteous. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

MY REVIEW: We ate lunch, had the special snapper with crab filling. The crab filling was excellent. I have never tasted crab this good. I plan on going back and eating the crab cakes next. My one complaint is they need to add an inexpensive side salad to go with meal.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I dined here on Saturday evening in celebration of my birthday (which I did not mention). It was a very enjoyable dinner. We both enjoyed the complimentary pate. My husband had the special filet and I had the seafood rissoto. The chocolate desert was wonderful. The service was very good - attentive, but not over the top. Next time I want to try the snapper.

MY REVIEW: We discovered this restaurant by looking through the "Entertainment" book and thought the menu looks quite attractive ( more than your usual cesar salad or grilled fish dishes ).We ordered the Roquefort crusted Snapper and the Sirloin Mignon Steak which were both delicious as well as the Spinach Salad and Poblano Soup we had as starters. I especially loved their Pate which came with the bread right after we were seated . Very friendly service and wonderful live music ( Thank you, Paul !) made it a great evening.

MY REVIEW: Both times we have been here (which we found by accident) have been wonderful. I personally think that it is in a bad location. The food has always been very good and very nicely presented. I love this place.

MY REVIEW: After reading the great reviews, my husband and I tried this local restaurant. The service was wonderful; however, there were only 6 people in the restaurant on a Saturday night. Overall, the food was great. My only complaint is that I ordered the Rack of Lamb and it was barely 4 bites of meat. When you spend $27 on an entree', you'd like to see a slightly larger portion.

MY REVIEW: We've driven by this restaurant for months now and finally decided to drop in for dinner. The owner is extremely friendly, the service is great, the food is outstanding and the atmosphere is casual yet refined. The spinach salad is quite good along with the home made bread (ask him about his recipe!). I had the snapper and my husband had the roast pork tenderloin and both were exceptional. Make sure you put Bistro 2575 on your list of restaurants, particularly if you live on the west side of Houston.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I went last night for our 21st wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The Caesar salad was perfect. We both had steaks and totally enjoyed them. Everything was yummy! The restaurant was rather empty, though. Hopefully, more people will hear of this lovely place and try it!

MY REVIEW: More people need to support this restaurant. First time I went we were the only ones there for dinner. I had to try the spinach salad that everyone raves about and was not disappointed. It was wonderful. The fish, however, was a little fishy. Service was grand. The next visit was for lunch and I took 6 people. We again, were the only ones in the restaurant. Everyone loved their food and it ranged from Flounder, salads, soups, hamburgers, baked brie, and mushroom sandwich. The bread is fresh and tasty. My last visit was May 4th and only one other person was in the restaurant for lunch. My special chicken was a little too mustardy for me. But my friend enjoyed her lunch and plans on returning with others. Hadi has been very attentive and very accomodating. Try this one out before it is too late.
