The Desert Rose - Hilton Southwest

MY REVIEW: First of all the place was deserted at noon. Should have been a tip-off, right? But because we had a meeting in the hotel, we stayed.

We were asked to check out the buffet- we tried to, but all the lids were still on the pans- (remember it is NOON already!) so we asked to see a menu. We ordered two sandwiches- and believe it or not, IT TOOK 40 MINUTES TO GET THEM. They were both supposed to have fries, but only one did- and only one sandwich was grilled, and they were both supposed to be.(one panini and one grilled turkey club.)The fries were limp and cold.

I asked the waitress what was going on, and she just kept saying the order was "coming". Sandwiches were mediocre. I am wondering what the chef was up to for all that time back in the kitchen- the restaurant had about 6 people in it the whole time we were there.

Total bill was $24 with tip- NOT WORTH IT!!!
