MY REVIEW: My wife and I went here because of the view, the reviews on the net, and the wine bar. We were hesitant since hotel restaurants aren't usually the best. The view was nice. Food, like a lot of nice places in the Clear Lake area, was decent but not awesome (I had the sword fish that could have used more seasoning and my wife had the snapper). Our waitress had mentioned a special but when asked further questions couldn't really explain it. When we later heard the manager tell the next table, we realized it would have been something we would have liked. We each ordered the 3 wine flight and they claim they can offer so many choices because they rotate so much stock. The place has an awesome selection of wines by the glass and we were very excited to try some different wines. My 2 reds clearly had been open for a couple of days and already had been losing their flavor. My wife's whites where fresh pours. Well unfortunately, I sat through much of my dinner without wine waiting for the next flight. Finally, we called the manager over to cancel the third flight. He did nicely only charge us for one. So in the end, this was a hotel restaurant. I doubt we will be back.

MY REVIEW: I took my mom to the special Mother's Day brunch buffet here. It was beautiful. The spread included a fresh breakfast bar (eggs, waffles, omelettes), a carving station with several meats, a salad and fruit bar, a sushi bar, and probably over a dozen hot entrees and sides. The layout was even stunning, with heart-shaped fruit displays and cheese carved into hearts. Our server was friendly and we were seated promptly by a harbour-view window. The ambiance was set with a piano player and flowers. My only complaint was that the dining room was very chilly.
I will definitely come back to any special events they hold here.

MY REVIEW: Ate here with friends for New Years Eve. Great place!
Strong points: The spinach salad with bacon dressing is to die for! Very good wine list. Good view of the harbour. Tuna steak was good. My husband had the special, stuffed flounder, which was awesome. Had the warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream - very good! The restaurant has a very nice ambiance. Service was excellent. Good music
Weak points: Not really a weak point, but too expensive for us to eat on a regular basis. This would be more of a restaurant for special occasions.
