Maggie Moo's Ice Cream & Treatery

MY REVIEW: My weakness is Ice-cream and I have tried all of them. B.R., Swe****, C.S., B&J, and M.Slab. I did a comparison a couple of years ago and bought butter pecan from C.S. and then Maggie Moo's and took them both home to compare. I threw the C.S. in the trash. I am totally hooked on this place. The Butter Pecan is the best I have ever tasted even thou it does not contain nuts.... Who cares! They carry and nice assortment of flavors so don't hesitate to sample them and decide which will be your favorites. The owner has the best personality and sincere "joyful" smile. Inside seating is limited but you can also sit outside; however, we usually get the quarts from the freezer section and a couple of waffle cones and take them home. This is the only food that Oreo, the cat, will sit and beg. Now I have to leave a little extra in the bowl for the cat.

MY REVIEW: I love this place! The owner is a sweet man who is so kind to the children. The ice cream is the best in all of Houston and the surrounding areas. I love the fact that they will allow you to sample as many flavors as you like without being obligated to purchase, though how you can go without buying any of their ice cream, I will never know. My favorite is the better-batter flavor. YUM! The owner even allows children to come in and tour the facility. He even lets them make some of the ice cream and then features it in the restaurant making sure that the children are give credit for making it. If you have a craving for ice cream, then Maggie Moo's is the place for you!
