The service and food quality has gotten worse as the visits have increased. The salad used be very good, but the last few times it has been soggy. When we pointed this out to the waiter he shrugged and walked away. I heard him tell the manager that we were too picky. Maybe we are, but in the days of $3.25 gallons of gas and $15.00 per person meals, I expect the things I pay so much for, to be worth what I pay for. VIVA Las Vegas! This has to be one of the most visually pleasing dishes I have ever seen. A generous filet of flounder topped with alot of delicious stuffing and a very tasty lite lemon butter sauce. Surrounded by shrimp. One of my best meals in a long time. And their prices are alot less than the too-many-overpriced-Italian restaurants out there. Definitely worth the drive from League City to Baytown, where, next time, I intend to order the same thing. To heck with trying different dishes when Las Vegas Flounder in on the menu! They are decent. You can get a nice size steak and some angel pasta for around $12. I prefer them more to c*arrabba's italian. Every time we go there we have to wait on our food a while and with a toddler that isn't always easy. Now one thing I think they are top of their market on is there pizza. It is really good and if you haven't ordered it, I would definitely give it a try it, we regularly take out now. We were in tonight with a party of 31 guest. We were there to celebrate my son and his best friends graduation. Two families of proud parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends converged on Antonio's, of course they knew ahead of time we were coming. They were ready for us and did a wonderful job! I would recommend this restaurant for all your celebrations. They worked hard to keep us all happy, readily serving up bread and drinks without hesitation. I was most impressed with the fact they got all of our entrees out at almost the same time, no ones food was cold and it was delicious. Everyone left happy and VERY full and satisfied. Wanted more variety. The food was good...someone wrote, on Italian night this is where we go! Of course, we likely will too, but simply because there isn't an alternative. Satisfactory for return visits though. They left the chicken off off my husbands shrimp and chicken special (but brought it apologetically) and our waiter wasn't really on the ball. Unfortunately, I think the food is only so-so. I have ordered dishes with shrimp in them on several occasions and the shrimp has been overcooked and rubbery. Also, the pastas with cream sauces tend to be rather bland. From my own experience, I really don't understand how the place can be so crowded all the time. They do make an excellent Italian salad, though. We were surprised to see several bad reviews for this restaurant. When it becomes Italian Night, this is where we will be. We have never tried the one in Baytown but the other two is two thumbs up. The wife is very partial to the Deer Park location. She has convinced herself that the La Porte location isn’t as good as the Deer Park location. I don’t agree, but she normally will drive so she will not have to hear me gripe for having to travel an extra 5 miles. The prices are really good and you can’t beat the “pizza night” specials. Their lunch menu is very reasonably priced and the food is always good and plentiful. I also visit the Antonio's in Baytown for evening meals with my friends and family, and we quite frequently order "take out" to bring home. The service in these restaurants has always been very good and on the one ocassion that my food was not prepared the way I wanted it, the staff quickly fixed the problem. Their pizza is one of the best in the area and on "Pizza" night, you can get large pizzas for cheap prices. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The WEAK points are the service, I think that they like to hire people with the IQ of 5 year olds, the food always seems to be luke warm, they seem to mess up the food every time we go there, this is suppose to be a restaurant yet they serve the dressings in plastic bowls, come on now. This pizza is good and that is the only thing that is good there - I think that they should just become a pizza place and the manager at this one is very rude and doesn't care what you think about the food or if they messed up. The restaurant is very dark and it is hard to read the menus and I am in my 20's!!! - The place is too small not enough parking. No flavor at all, it tasted like a bad thanksgiving day stuffing. I still am in shock that they would actually serve a "crabcake" made with imitation crabmeat like the kind you buy in a store. The salad was disappointing as well, no flavor and not enough dressing. My wife ordered the ribeye with shrimp and pasta entree, the ribeye was the only flavorful thing we ate, even though she ordered it medium and it arrived medium well plus. Again no flavor with the shrimp and pasta. I ordered the chicken marsala. The chicken was coated with a breaded coating that it didnt need, it had no marsala flavor and no garlic flavor. lets just say that the meal went downhill after the imitation crabcake's. Consistantly we are given the most outstanding service that we regard as 5 star treatment. As with any restaurant, they have servers who are more attentive than others. However, thier less attentive servers are giving the 5 star service as well. As far as the food at Antonio's, OUTSTANDING. All of the pasta is just fantastic, the Rigatoni al Forno is a favorite with my family. The pizza is piping hot with nothing but absolute fresh mouth-watering ingredients, it tastes just like the pizza I used to get in Naples Italy!! Every single dish is more than reasonably priced not only for the quality but the quantity as well. If you want just a steak then go to a steak house, if you want a steak ala pasta done right, go to Antonio's.
