Nickel Sandwich Grill

MY REVIEW: The food and service at The Nickel is great. I like the catfish and the grilled meats. I would tell anyone to go. The prices are very reasonable also and they have specials.

MY REVIEW: I have passed by the place so many times and kept on driving by because the sign reads barbecue, and wasn't inclined to go until a friend asked me to run an errand to pick her up some lunch from there. Oh my goodness, the vast menu alone is tentalizing.

I end up ordering two sandwiches (pork chop and ribs), and a shrimp po-boy and that didn't include my friend's order (shrimp basket w/bake potato), which is what originally sent me there. The food was sooooooooo good and the portions are well worth the nominal price that is set.

I just hope that they keep doing what they're doing. They are the best kept secret and I'm now telling all my peers.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. I work at a nearby school so I'm always looking for "quick" yet satisfying lunches. I call in my order and arrive within 5 minutes and the food is there waiting for me. The catfish po-boy/fries special is my usual. I love the employees and the history behind this great establishment. Way to go Nickel!!!

MY REVIEW: I LOVE the Nickel! I have had almost everything on the menu and I have no complaints. The portions are EXCELLENT! My fave is the sausage plate!

MY REVIEW: OOh yeah cher the fish is good and it was catfish not the muddy kind either and big enough for two people now if the catfish was good just think of how the trout may be im going back bye you need to go too
