MY REVIEW: Will not frequent here again! A group of us went with the intent to enjoy food and drinks and we did initially enjoy the Crawfish as well as the atmosphere of this bar. However, this local sports bar went straight into nightclub by 11 pm which changed the whole dynamic from watching sports and hanging out. In addition, this bar did not honor a Gift Certificate from Restaurants.com (which had no expiration) because they don't take the time to verify these and they were being defrauded by other individuals. This sounds like a very lazy and sad management issue, not a customer issue. So the food was fine, the place was clean...but the sports bar transformation to loud nightclub and unprofessional courtesy to customers with a large tab and a small coupon were a buzz kill. We will not be back for Monday night football or Friday night events...what a joke!

MY REVIEW: I have been in to Coaches off and on for a few years and I always enjoy the food and now thanks to a new waitress named "Jessica" who works on Tuesdays, Fri-Sundays the service is exceptional!!!! I have never had a better (or more attentive) waitress. So when you go in ask to sit in her section.

MY REVIEW: First visit to Coaches on Katy Frwy a big dissapointment, arrived Tuesday night @7:10 with friend, not a real busy night. Waited 1 hr 13 min for meal to arrive while others who came later were served and ate. When meal finally arrived it was ice cold, chicken fried steak and fried catfish, much better when at least served luke warm. Great decor, plenty of big screen TV's and sports galore, just don't expect fast service or hot food.

MY REVIEW: BE WARNED: Coaches charge extra for salsa with their Mile High Nachos! This is unbelievable when you consider that nachos is a mainstay in the Houston area.

The charge is $.95 for a small container similar in size to the small catsup containers you may find in fast food restaurants.

They also charge extra for a second small container of ranch dressing to go with onion rings, fried mushrooms or wings.

The manager said he has been in the food industry for 20 years and many places in Houston charge extra for these items, but when pressed to name just one, he couldn't. Can you name one? (Note: next door is W*illie's Ice House and they don't charge extra for these items)

I eat out at least 8 times a week, not including fast food restaurants, and this is the first time I have encountered this sur charge.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. The food is excellent. I especially crave their burgers and 50 cent wings on the weekends! This is definately not just a sports bar - it's a grill! Great Monday steaks, too.

MY REVIEW: The food and service were excellent. A bit smoky but overall very good. The pricing is right and the TV's for viewing are top drawer. Lots of big screen and well placed so that groups or just a couple of guys can view things very well. Becoming one of the more popular spots around the 290 Jersey Village area for a drink and viewing spot.
