MY REVIEW: We went for a celebration dinner and were very disappointed in the food. We started with a sampler platter for eleven dollars and the portions were so small that my three year old was still hungry after eating both chicken strips that were only about two and a half inches long. The waitress was pretty good but the food was terrible. I paid twenty dollars for a steak that had a texture like rubber. I paid seventy dollars on a meal that nobody even enjoyed I definately will not be back! I started eating at the Peppers in Pasadena and always had excellent food but the place on the Gulf Freeway has been consistantly going down.

MY REVIEW: A hostess that seemed sleepy greeted us, (I say that because she was head down on the host stand and slumped over)and took us to a table in the middle of the dining room that reminded me of a zoo. Screaming kids in all directions, a lack of supervision or service on the dining room floor and when our server FINALLY stopped by she blamed everyone else for her poor service, except herself. We should of gotten up before we went any farther, but we decided to give it a try. Long story short; it took much too long to get what we ordered and when it FINALLY was served it was like rubber and tasteless. We were in no hurry at all, but waiting this long, with service this bad is un-excusable.

There are too many other good restaurants in the area to bother with this one ever again.

MY REVIEW: The food at Pepper's is consistently good. If there is ever a problem with food quality, which is seldom, the staff quickly and happily corrects this. My husband and I and our entire family and many friends have been eating there for years as we enjoy the quality of the food , the friendly atmosphere and the reasonable prices. We appreciate all the "EXTRA" we enjoy at Pepper's. Pasadena is our favorite, but we like League City, too!

MY REVIEW: I won't be going back. The shrimp in the gumbo were like small rubber erasers. We only went because we had a $10 off coupon, then were told we couldn't use it because we ordered a special! Being one of only 2 tables seated in the restuarant, and it being our first (and only) visit, you would think they would have allowed the coupon.

MY REVIEW: My family and I go to Peppers just about every Sunday night and you could not ask for better food and service. The atmosphere is so relaxing with the fish tanks and pretty decor. The wait staff is usually top notch and if they make a misteak, they will make things right by offering a free dessert or are willing to take off a portion of the meal price. Kids eat free at Peppers on Sundays too!

MY REVIEW: My wife and I found Pepper's right after they took over the old E*rnie's location. We eat here a couple times a month and love it. The Prime rib is an awsome deal at only $11.99 for an 8 once. The Fried green tomatoes or oysters on the half shell (in season) make great starters. Also my wife loves the blackend chicken alfredo. Ask for the Avacado dressing with your salad it is great and made fresh in house. In all the years we have been eating there I think the only bad experiance we ever had was the friday that tropical storm allison hit town. We were the only people in the place and I think the kitchen had alreay shut down because the food was well below the ussual.

MY REVIEW: I had the best meal at Pepper's last night--my first visit to this restaurant! We arrived late, around 9:30, but the waiter, Ben, was a delight and the food was exceptional! I ordered the Chicken Chipotle, and it was mouthwatering. The bread was hot and delicious, and the salad was crispy and tasteful. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which was a perfect compliment to the meal. My friend had the Seafood Primavera -- it was a huge serving -- and he thoroughly enjoyed it. As first-timers we were pleasantly surprised, and will definitely be returning (and, I see, they have a location that's a bit closer to me). Thumbs up!

MY REVIEW: I have several meetings here with clients yearly -- they always seat me away from crowd ---- the staff is awesome and foot is even better --- being from Houston I had doubts about the quality of a pasadena restaurant but it measures up with the best in Houston -- Good Job Pepper's

MY REVIEW: My family and friends have been eating at Pepper's since it opened. We sometimes have parties of 20 people on Friday or Saturday nights which they always accomodate on the spur of the moment (as soon as tables are available). I love their menu because it offers a wide variety from wonderful salads, scrumpious seafood enchiladas (my husband's favorite) to a stuffed chicken breast or seafood stuff steak that make my mouth water as I'm writing this. In all the years of going there, we have been disappointed only a few times by the wait, which is always made up for by the great-tasting food. I find the management to be very "visible" and involved in making sure every table is being cared for. While I have many favorite restaurants in Houston and the surrounding area, this is my all-time choice for a good meal at prices a family can afford. Yes, I'll be there tonight with my family and next Saturday with my girlfriends, too! (Kids eat free on Mondays!)

MY REVIEW: My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner (5:30 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2006). We were greeted by a very friendly staff, and were seated immediately. I asked for a sample of the ribs and shrimp before I committed to the all-u-can-eat ribs and shrimp, and they happily obliged. Both were absolutely delicious. I ended up eating four racks of ribs (approximately 20 ribs) and 20 jumbo shrimp. The meals came with a salad, a bread roll, and spiced french fries. I ate only a couple of fries, because I wanted to eat as many ribs and shrimp as possible. I did not have the salad, but the vegetables were very fresh (my wife really enjoyed her salad). For dessert, I had the New York cheesecake with rasberry sauce, and my wife had the Chocolate cake with butterscotch. I have NEVER tasted a better chocolate cake in my life - I would drop into the restaurant on the way home from work just to have the chocolate cake - it was THAT good. The operations manager Tom dropped by our table to ask how the meal was, and the chef Tim made a personal visit to our table and presented us with our desserts. My wife and I are extremely impressed with Peppers Steakhouse and Seafood in League City, and we plan to come back again and again even though the all-u-can-eat ribs and shrimp special expires after today, Sunday, February 5, 2006. The prices on all their food is so reasonable, that you can bring a large family and not pay a lot. For example, their burgers are only 6.99, and their ribs run about 10.00. I have never visited the Pasadena location, but if it is anything like the League City location, you won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: Wow!! The best restaurant in the Houston area. My wife and I recently moved to the Pasadena area, fell in love with this restaurant. We always enjoy ordering the delicious steaks. Once I ordered a seafood platter and it was just as good. The wait staff is good too. Our favorite waiter is Brian, so be sure to ask for him. I am sure that you won't go wrong here.

MY REVIEW: We have been customers since Peppers took over the E*rnie's location. In fact our daughter over the years give us gift certificate for anniverseries. But our experiences last Sat. Feb. 26. was terrible. We had been married 50 years on the 19th of Feb. We always liked to eat at Peppers for our special day. But I don't think we will be comming back to Peppers again. To start off we had to wat about 10 minutes to even be seated. Than my husband ordered us each a steak. We got aour drinks, bread and one salad. The waiter said only one salad came with the meal. We were than left on our own about 45 minutes without our waiter even checking on us. Finally a man came by and we told him we havn't been served yet. So than right away our waiter brought one steak out (it probably was cold by that time). We ordered two steaks but he brought only one and a empty plate. I guess we were supposed to share the very small bake potato and the steak which looked great. But by that time I was mad and we left. I just hope Pasadena opens another steak place for us to celebrate our special days.

MY REVIEW: After being there in October 2004 I am not willing to go back. I went there with my co-worker on our lunch break. Despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't busy, it took them forever. We were waiting for about 20 minutes for them to cut a piece of cake. The waiter was rude, the manager even worse. In addition, we didn't get what we ordered.

MY REVIEW: This was the first time at the restaurant for me, and the experience was good. My mother and I went there for lunch. We got good service, even though they were busy. I got the rib-eye steak smothered with mushrooms, and it was a great choice for a lunch special It was a higher priced lunch item, but still under $10. It was worth it! My mom also said her grilled pork chops were very good. We will visit again. Hopefully, our next visit will be just as pleasant.
