MY REVIEW: LOVE IT! It's a nice break from Frapucinos at SB and Orange Dream Machines at JJ. I've had Bubble Tea Slushies at other places and am VERY happy to be back in the Clear Lake area because the last place I lived, Palm Springs, CA, had NO place to get bubble tea. My fave was closed by hurricane Katrina in Ocean Springs, MS. It was my favorite only because they had a few more flavors. Bubble Island is AWESOME and the people there will help you, explain the menu and make your first trip a whole lot better than most. I am always introducing friends to Bubble teas... They all love it! My current fave is Pina Colada with 1/2 Bubbles, 1/2 Pineapple Jelly... And, the frozen Coffee Slushie is a comparable KiCk to a Frap!

MY REVIEW: It's a GREAT place. I tried bubbles elsewhere and was not impressed. Maybe I didn't give the drinks a chance. They are a bit scarey looking. Once I found the combination I liked (coconut milk slushie with almond pudding)(I'm partial to the sweet stuff), I was hooked. I love taking my husband and kids there. The service folks are always very polite and attentive, the store has a relaxed atmosphere, and the drinks are tasty and refreshing. I also love the card that allows you to buy 10 drinks and get one free.

MY REVIEW: This place is hands down the best bubble tea/slushie place I have ever been to. The family that owns the place are courteous and polite, and I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my drink, even when the store was full. The drinks are large, and the price is reasonable (around 3$ or so for a fairly big cup). They have a wide variety of flavors and fresh ingredients, though I am partial to either the pina colada with tapioca, or the green apple with lychee jelly. The store itself is cheerfully decorated, with board games to play and magazines to read if you decide to stick around and drink your slush there. The lovely salt water aquarium is also a draw, for me anyway. I haven't tried the toast as of yet, but the slushes and teas I will cheerfully endorse =)

MY REVIEW: I really did like the atmosphere of the store, it looked inviting. I tried the Honeydew Milk Tea (my fave) and was not disappointed. Very good milk tea. Wish they had larger sizes b/c I drank mine so fast. I will for sure be a repeat customer. Also, they sell several types of Pocky! Not sure how much they are since they were out of my favorite Almond Crush.

MY REVIEW: Bubble Island has very bad drinks. Everything is too sweet and the tea is watered down. the bubble isn't even chewy. The service is also way too slow.
the price is definitely too expensive for the quality of drinks they serve. and better drinks.

MY REVIEW: Whenever I get back to Houston (as I currently live in Providence, RI), the first place I go when I get off the plane is Bubble Island. They have, by far, the best green teas, black teas, fruit slushies, and coffees. The quality and atmosphere are top notch. I recommend Bubble to everyone I know.

MY REVIEW: Bubble Island is an excellent place for bubble tea. I have converted most of my coworkers, and it's pretty safe to say we're addicted. 20 drinks in less than 2 months... I recently tried T*eahouse Beverages on Shepard, and Bubble Island beats it hands down. The classic milk tea retains the flavor of black tea because they use milk instead of cream. Highly recommended, and I can name at least 8 other co-workers who would say the same.

MY REVIEW: I've try to go to as many boba places in as many different cities as I can and Bubble Island definitly ranks along my top 10. Most places I try have lame drinks that are sometimes scooped out of a tub and dumped into my cup. These slush drinks are basiclly that, just slush with a slight hint of flavor. Its quite disgusting, but that doesn't happen at Bubble Island. Also, the person before is totally wrong about the drinks being too sweet because if you have been in there before, then you would know that you can choose to make your drinks more or less sweet. I happen to like my green tea sweeter because I don't really like the taste of green tea and they do that for me here. The staff is helpful in picking a drink since they have quite a large selection to choose from. Clean and friendly enviornment. Would recommend to anyone and my only complaint is that they only have one size. My son loves thier drinks, but can't always finish it so smaller sizes would be great.

MY REVIEW: The worst tapioca I've ever had. All the drinks are too sweet and taste like syrups. This is no where near the quality of better places like T*eahouse on Westheimer and Shepherd. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of my way than go to this place.

MY REVIEW: Bubble Island is the best bobba store I have ever gone to. The staff is really friendly and always ready to assist me in any situation concerning the combination of drinks I like. i love their toast. The drinks always taste fresh because they use real fruits in their drinks, unlike every other place that just mixes water with powder and call it a delicious drink. The place is clean and decorative. It's a nice place to relax and just enjoy the drink. Everytime I go in there they always know what I want to drink for the day. It's a family owned business and there's a real family atmosphere there which most stores don't have. Most store usually just want to sell you the drinks and get you out of their stores before you realize that the drink you just bought sucks. B.I. is there to make sure that your drink is to your satisfaction.

MY REVIEW: This is THE GREATEST tapioca tea place!! The drinks are excellent -- and everytime you order one you know you're going to get the same high quality product you had the last time, and the price is right too. Real fresh fruit in the slushies and the tea is always fresh made -- no prepackaged drinks here. The family that runs the place is wonderful - everyone is always very friendly and happy to accomodate special drink requests. Bubble Island has definitely brought a good thing to the Clear Lake area, and they offer a better product than any of the downtown places we've tried. We go almost everyday -- it's that good!!!

MY REVIEW: Ultra consistent, high quality product and service. They are very serious about using high quality ingredients, instead of depending on lame sugar syrups, like some places. My only complaint is that they wont let you crete new flavor combinations, I desperately want a chocoalte coconut slushy, but no luck!

MY REVIEW: Great place. Located at Bay Area Blvd and Space Center Blvd in the K*roger shopping center. I had the strawberry & Peach smoothie with tapioca bubbles...DELICIOUS. Buy 10, get one free. They have a machine which seals the tops of the drinks. This place is very clean and the clown fish in the aquarium are so cute. :) If you don't want tapioca bubbles, they offer "jelly" strips, but I don't think they are as good as the bubbles. Friendly owners...I hope this place stays around for a while...OR BETTER YET, maybe they will open a shop on the north side somewhere. This would be a great addition to the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area.

MY REVIEW: Bubble island is a great place, very cool atmosphere and friendly staff. I had known some of the family from when they worked over at H*an's Mongolian Wok (nasa rd 1 and I-45 next in the garden ridge parking lot) an awesome choose your own stir fry resturant I have been going to for years. I haven't tried the bubble tea yet, but I have had the slushes several times and I am particularly fond of the green apply with lychee bits ^_^. Try them out, it is a unique and pleasant experience.

MY REVIEW: Everything is about this place is great! The atmosphere, the people, the DRINKS....the family that owns this place is great. They are so friendly, and they make THE BEST BUBBLE TEA. I am embarrassed at how often I go in there, but I doubt I am the only one... and besides...I am sure they don't mind!! tee hee..

MY REVIEW: Definitely a good tapioca place :-) (or boba as known to the asians). They even have a little machine thing to seal the cup :-D Tr*pioca in downtown doesn't have that. Oh well, i just thought it was a neat thing to see. Thank god there's a tapioca place in Clear Lake! It is however hard to find -- in a strip mall, close to the University of Houston at Clear Lake (way down from I-45), and a small place. But it looks cool inside -- sorta like an aquarium.

MY REVIEW: Very nice atmosphere..friendly staff. Very helpful with newbies who are not familiar w/the bubble tea concept. If you have never experienced bubble or pearl tea...I would recommend the peach grean tea w/tapioca. Will definetly go again.
