Anthony's Mexican Restaurant

MY REVIEW: It's been 6 years since my last visit and 5 years since anyone reviewed Anthony's. I'm wondering if they are under new ownership because my combination dinner wasn't as good as I remember. I arrived at noon and was the only customer the 30 minutes I was there.

The only passable items on my combination platter were a beef enchilada, guacamole, rice and tostado. Taco was just ok. Tamale had been been nuked too long rendering it tough and dry. Refried beans were watered down and had a burnt taste. Not worth $10.50 (there was no lunch menu which usually means better prices).

No customers today at noon and no reviews for several years? I think I see why.

MY REVIEW: After my first vist, I just had to have more. Great margaritas, Best fajitas in town, breakfast served all day. No matter what you order you'll come out saying "were have you been all my life"

MY REVIEW: only been once with no complaints. But if you thought their refried beans are good, then try El R*anchero in LaPorte and let us know. Same goes for Mexican rice and beef enchiladas.

MY REVIEW: unbelievably excellent food. One of the problems I tend to have eating mexican food is not liking refried beans. These were so good I wanted to lick my plate.

The food is so fresh, and the owner friendly, i did not expect to find such a treat.
