MY REVIEW: It's a good restaurant the shrimp fried rice I had the first time had lots of pepper. Which was great and not how it usually comes from other restaurants but sadly on the second trip the pepper was gone and it was plain shrimp fried rice. The shrimp egg foo young was well prepared and the seafood delight was standard fare. No better or worse than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. The food is good but since this place is one to two more dollars higher than other places. My advise is if you have a go to Chinese restaurant already stick with it. You're not going to find anything here that's better than your current best.

MY REVIEW: Ive ordered take out from the China Cottage off I-10 many times. Recently they were over a half hour late, causing me to not have time to ear lunch seeing as I was going to be late for work. Then today I placed an order and they brought me the wrong order and then to top that off they wanted to charge me extra to fix their mistake! Needless to say that I will not be ordering from them ever again. I don't recommend dining there or ordering from them if you expect good service.

MY REVIEW: I order delivery from China Cottage nearly every week. The food is consistently great. Whenever I have guests, I order from China Cottage and my guests always love it. The service is great especially Angel at the register. The sesame chicken and basil chicken are my favorites. I give out their menu to all my friends and family. The food has always tasted fresh and delicious. The orders are almost perfectly delivered. If there is ever even the smallest mistake in the order ex. Steamed rice vs fried rice, they will rectify the mistake happily-no hassle. China Cottage is the best Chinese delivery in Houston by far.

MY REVIEW: Small restaurant near Memorial City Mall...I didn't even know it was there. It is a hidden gem. Wonderful food, great prices, very fast service, and friendly staff. What more can you ask for? They even offer free delivery. My co-worker and I have ordered from them twice, but I see many more orders in our future.

MY REVIEW: Vrey good Chinese food! Family owned business, very nice people. What I like the most is the General Tso chicken, it is the best I have ever had. The food all cooked fresh, and fast. NO MSG. Big plus!!

MY REVIEW: After changing hands in 2008 I felt the food really suffered but today I just had to have Basil Chichen so I returned to find a nicely remodeled eating-in area, friendly service and wonderful Basil Chicken. I am still disappointed in the tiny egg rolls and not so spicy thick Hot and Sour soup. Prices have also gone up but overall it's a good a quick pick=up!

MY REVIEW: Great neighborhood takeout and delivery. Huge menu..many accents not found on your everyday Asain menu. I have tried many menu items and among my real favorites are the Basil dishes and the Hot and Sour soup. They offer a special before 4 pm that is hard to beat for the price! Its a good place to pick-up dinner after a busy day! Limited dining in space.

MY REVIEW: Great Thai food. Pad Thai is awesome and is always the dish I order. Vietnamese Spring rolls, and dumplings are excellent. Best fried wonton in town. They put in strips of barbeque pork not minced meat.

MY REVIEW: New ownership.Same cook.I usuel order Thai food here. The previous owner was Thai and always ready to cook something new if you give him a idea of what you would like.My mainstay here however is the Pad Thai with shrimp.Truely delicious and the shrimp have always been fresh every time I have eaten it.The chicken with chinese broccoli is also good. They have the typical Chines sweet and sour, fried rice as well. The veggie dumplings were really delicious and very different from the Chinese style. What the new owners plan to change remains to be seen.If you live in the Memorial city area however this is as good as it gets for a quick fix when you do not have the time or energy to head for Bellaire.

MY REVIEW: I like this place for lunch, but the lunch-hour wait can be terrible, due to small size of staff & kitchen. Best to phone your order ahead, then it will be ready or almost ready by the time you get there. Yes, the Thai dishes are better than the Chinese dishes.
