Cafe Panda Garden Chinese Restaurant

MY REVIEW: We were looking for something close to work that we could pick up and bring back. After reading the reviews on b4-u-eat, we decided to try Panda Garden and we were very happy with the choice. The restaurant is nice and clean and employees courteous and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and food contains no MSG (a must for me). After driving back to the office, the food was still VERY hot with enough to eat again tomorrow. We'll definitely be back to eat in and were glad to hear that they deliver.

MY REVIEW: What an amazing little gem of a restaurant! The decor was absolutely beautiful -- delicate flower arrangements, small bamboo plants, and none of that tacky junk (little fat Bhuddas, plastic dragons, etc.) that cheapens the look of most Chinese places. Soft music and wood-paneled walls make for a peaceful, elegant ambience. The service was outstanding -- courteous, efficient, and never intrusive. The food was some of the best I've ever had at a Chinese eatery in Houston. The Mongolian Beef was tender and flavorful with just the right balance of spices; the lo mein was fresh, non-greasy, and lightly salted with a generous helping of meats. Best of all were the prices, which were very reasonable and truly less than what I would have expected for such an elegant setting. What an amazing place!

MY REVIEW: Beautiful restaurant with soft lighting and music. I ordered the House Won ton (a wonderful combination of shrimp, chicken, spinach leaves and noodle stuffed with beef) and Shrimp Fried Rice. Overall the food was delicious, with the House Won ton having a surprisingly unique flavor. The Shrimp fried rice was equally as impressive. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

MY REVIEW: My girlfriend and I love to eat here several times per week. It's great for takeout, and we like to have a date night here too because it's quiet and cute. The chicken is always tender and lean, and I love the Panda Lo Mein. My girlfriend is from China and she loves to come here too. It's one of our favorites.

MY REVIEW: I was scrolling through the B4-EAT listings looking for a good Chinese restaurant with delivery service. I was delighted to find Cafe Panda. Their szechwan spicy dumplings are wonderful as is most everything I've tried. The service is very friendly and helpful and their delivery service is fast and your order is hot. Now I know that if I don't feel like going out to eat I can always order through their delivery service

MY REVIEW: This is a hidden jewel for Chinese food. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is some of the best in Houston. Lunch gets more crowded than dinner. Some times they have half-price wine at dinner! The chicken dishes are wonderful as are the dishes with prawns (much larger than the regular shrimp dishes). Definitely worth a visit.

MY REVIEW: This place is OFF THE SCALE! The food is ALWAYS fresh, fresh, fresh!!! Only white meat chicken is used which is unusual... The staff are always as friendly as they can be. The rest. is small but very pretty and comfortable. You can NEVER go wrong with this choice. I found the place by accident about a year and a half ago and since then have become a visitor about once a week. They obviously have a huge group of regular customers. Honestly, it's by far the best asian food rest. I've ever tried.

MY REVIEW: Great food for the price. They only use white meat chicken which is a must for me. Very friendly. We order a lot of take out from them. Very consistent - have never had a bad expirience.

MY REVIEW: So far I haven't found any weak points. Everything I have tried has been great. I have always had their take out so I don't have any opinion on eating in. One thing I love is that they have extra-large size portions that you can order of their best dishes. I've had large groups of people over and we've all been able to eat on just a few orders of these items - very cost efficient.

MY REVIEW: Great Chinese food at reasonable prices. Try the Mongolian beef, best in town. Soups are also very good and stack up well considering the vast amount of Chinese competition in Houston. Good laid-back atmosphere.
