MY REVIEW: Some of the best Thai food we've had anywhere in the US. The only comparable food is that served at this restaurant's sister restaurant on Longpoint. They will prepare you the authentic version or Americanized version of the food, although our preference is the authentic.
This is a great neighborhood place. It's very clean, but don't expect fancy decor. It's BYOB, which is also very nice.

MY REVIEW: OMG! Those homemade noodles rock! Our entire household, even the 5&below ages, all adore the food here. We always take ours to go so the size of the place is not an issue. The curry is great and their rice dishes are great too. We seem to be working our way through the menu.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I have been eating at Thai Lily since it first opened. I wrote a review on the restaurant for the Houston Chronicle early on because I was afraid no one would ever know they were there, and it would end up closing like so many other restaurants. But people seem to have found it. The food is wonderful, some of the best Thai food around. My husband loves their curries and I love the Pad Thai. We rarely try other dishes because we're so hooked on those. Mostly we do takeout because the place is so small and hot. Hopefully, if they're expanding, that'll improve.

MY REVIEW: The new owners are Thai imigrants that make food for their Thai friends and Falang customers. The dishes are about as close to Sukhumvit as you can get in Houston, especially the Pad Thai (real Easan palah if you want). The main drawback is that the restaurant is very small and staffed by only 2-3 people. Seating is FCFS and many are turned away at lunch time as the reputation spreads. Remodelling and upgrades are in progress but expansion is needed, the food is that good.

weak point: the restaurant was small and they didnt have the a/c running or something cause it was hot and humid inside. the dishes are pretty pricey..

MY REVIEW: Love this place! The interior is pretty boring and not exactly beautiful, so don't go for the incredible ambiance. If, however, you want awesome, cheap thai food, this is the place! Be aware that it is very authentic, so don't expect bland, americanized food. And if you ask for it spicy (or worse, thai spicy), be prepared to feel it. But the flavors are awesome! We've had the red curry, paenang curry, tom kha, chicken sate, whole fish in curry, sticky rice and mango, and all have been exceptional. On top of that, the service is very friendly and nice, and the prices are great. We had 2 starters, 2 entres and 2 drinks, paid $30 and took loads of food home. Highly recommend this place!

MY REVIEW: It is kind of a hobby of ours to try out Thai restaurants and this is the latest we have tried and the best in Houston. Try the deep fried fish in triple flavor sauce. A large whole fish for only $10.95. A great deal and delicious. We also love the Tom Kha with shrimp. My daughter is three and we have to stop her from eating too much of it! The only problem with service we have had was they brought out the wrong dish (which I could have eaten it smelled so good) and another time they had not opened up on time so they gave us a free appetizer. I call that fair! Other than that the service was very good. Give them a try!

MY REVIEW: This is a quaint and unassuming mom and pop restaurant that serves some of the best and most authentic Thai dishes that I've ever had!
The tom yum soup's tart and fresh taste will kick anyone's appetite into high gear before any of the food arrives. The curries are fragrant, savory and powerful. The noodles soothing, fresh and cool. All the dishes can be prepared vegetarian by request. Portions are generous. I'd recommend the green curry with chicken. White chicken breast meat, thai eggplant, green beans and thai basil are sauteed in a highly addictive rich, spicy coconut, and green curry sauce. Be careful, the cooks tout their traditional Thai cooking style and are reluctant to talor their dishes to the western palate. Expect spicy food!
This is a great restaurant to take some friends and order an array of dishes to share and try out. But be aware, that this is a small restaurant that sits at capacity around 30 people, so expect to get cozy with your neighbor.

MY REVIEW: I go there 2 or 3 times a month. A wonam I work with is from Thailand and discovered the place. In her opinion, this is the most authentic, non-Americanized Thai restaurant that she has encountered in the US. I wouldn't know for sure, but I'll trust her. All I know is my taste buds LOVE what they get every time I go. Service is a little dawdling, but as long as you come in with a little patience, you'll get a great meal!

MY REVIEW: Excellent! Very friendly staff. The most authentic Thai restaurant in Houston. A quality Thai restaurant at a resonable price. I love Tod-Mun-Pla (It's the fish cake served with cucumber salad topped with some peanut). Noodles are also great. They are in a huge bowl. Will visit again and again, definitely.
