Rudyard's

MY REVIEW: Went to the monthly pairings dinner at Rudz...what a blast! I was expecting bar food when I went on my birthday; what a surprise! The night featured Indian Wells ales and the first course was an open-faced spider roll paired with a lite ale. The beer was ok at best, but when paired the way Jon and Joe did it, it was perfect!
I highly recommend the monthly event and am trying to get more friends to go!
Dinner Menu was: 1. The spider roll 2. A watermelon, feta and arugula salad with purple onion 3. Duck a l'orange on flat bread 4. Pho 5. A chocolate ice cream 'hot dog' with fried Vietnamese noodles and Viet Cinnamon.
Totally worth the cover fee!

MY REVIEW: Hands down the BEST burger in town! Other menu items are great as well but PLEASE, PLEASE be a little more generous with the fries and tots! I crave Rudz daily.

MY REVIEW: Five of us showed up just before the kitchen closed. You can't expect much when you do that. But, our food was very good. The fish tacos hit the spot, as did the fries I stole from the others' plates. Everyone enjoyed their food. Very upbeat atmosphere with a pretty good beer selection, even for the hops-snob in our group. Can't wait to go back.

MY REVIEW: I really enjoy the fact that you can get pub grub at Rudz! The food is pretty good. Saturday night I ordered the Black Bean Nachos. They were tasty, despite the fact they arrived almost cold and the fixings were a little skimpy. Regardless they hit the spot. The Black Bean Nachos consisted of tortilla chips covered with grated cheese and black beans, side containers of pico, sour cream and barely a dollop of guacamole round out the plate. Just about anything's good when ya got a good buzz going! LOL! Thanks for the pub grub Rudz!

MY REVIEW: Rudz is a great pub with many, many wonderful beers and a full bar! They have live music upstairs and offer food from their kitchen! For my first pub meal, I tried the Philly Cheese Steak, not the greatest thing on the menu, but since the menu does offer other items, I will be trying them out. I have nothing bad to say about Rudz as it is one of my favorite pubs in the Montrose!

MY REVIEW: For the vegetarians: Great veggie burger especially with swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms. Eggplant parmesan and black bean nachos are ok. Staff is helpful and ambience is overall welcoming.

MY REVIEW: Best cheeseburger in town! Seven bucks but well worth it. Nachos are good and so is the Shrimp po-boy.

MY REVIEW: Food is good. Price is fair. Sunday offers cheaper beer and bar drinks. Service is good to great depends on the bartender dejour. Will eat there again.
