MY REVIEW: I'm always reluctant to post a negative review that conflicts with everyone else, but here goes . . .
I wanted a Philly Cheesesteak and they had one, so I tried them.
They were unfriendly and the meat in the sandwich was rubbery and loaded with gristle. The garnish was tasty, but I didn't order a garnish sandwich. After eating about a third, I put the rest down the disposal.
It was takeout, so the lack of atmosphere mentioned elsewhere meant nothing to me, however if I were eating there the blaring radio would have been annoying.

MY REVIEW: I have to agree with the previous reviews the pepper/relish really separates these subs from other places. Also, with the cheese steak, the bread and the cheese are a higher quality than other cheese steaks I have had.
Cons: I was going to say this place lacks in atmosphere, but even the sport talk show always on the radio, the reading material and posters give this place some character.

MY REVIEW: I highly recommend Antoninis! I've lived in Clear Lake for 10 years and have eaten at almost every restaurant and had always seen Antoninis but never been there. After a friend recommended it I finally decided to try it - My husband and I went for lunch on a weekday and we were highly impressed. The subs were awesome! I would say probably the best subs in Clear Lake. My husband had the sausage and peppers sub and I had a turkey sub and they were both awesome. You will not be disappointed!

MY REVIEW: I've never had a cheesesteak anywhere that came close to being as good as Antonini's. The combination of pepper/relish, cheese, steak, mayo and ketchup makes for a juicy, messy, fantastic sandwich. I'm not a big fan of ketchup but it really works on this sandwich, so order it as it comes. I highly recomend this place.

MY REVIEW: I had the opportunity to go to Antonini's Subs today, a little place I used to have lunch at many years ago when I worked at the bank across the street. I have always loved this place! Nothing has changed except the subs . . . they're even better than I remember! The pepper relish/sauce is what's makes these sanwiches stand apart. And good news for all of you carnivores, lots of meat on this sub! It's been a long time since I've been in but, it won't be that long before I return. One of the best subs in town!!!

MY REVIEW: My buddy told me about this place. He also had sandwiches from here at his Superbowl party. Antonini's Subs and Steaks is the BOMB!! The sauce that he puts on the subs is what makes the subs. He also loads you up with plenty of meat. I have 8 people in my family and five subs feeds us all. The Philly cheesesteak is really good. We have tried the Meatball and the Italian as well and they are all quite tasty. Try this place out, it is delicious.

MY REVIEW: I grew up in Philadelphia, so I can't express how pleased I was to find a place making really good Philly style cheesesteaks and Italian Hoagies (sorry, no one in Philly calls them "subs") right around the corner from my apartment and workplace! The owner of this shop lived in Delaware, and in an amazing coincidence was friends with the owner of the small chain of Delaware-style sub shops in Austin I used to frequent before I moved here.
If you want to find out what the storied "Philly cheesesteak" is like, this place will give you a good idea. One small caution - no one I knew ever put mayonnaise on a cheesesteak, which seems to be among the default settings here (maybe that's more a Delaware thing). I always order my cheesesteaks with everything (grilled onions and peppers) and ketchup, the way God intended. Be aware the large steak/sub is for big eaters! A small (half the roll used for the large) is probably enough for most people.
Also recommended besides the steaks are the subs and sandwiches. Their Italian sub is excellent, just like I'd get in West Philly. Ham, Salami, Cappicola, provolone, onion, lettuce, tomato, with some oil and vinegar. Though I've never had one my co-worker really loves their roast beef sub as well; he described it as "the way a roast beef sandwich ought to be."
