Pho Hoang

MY REVIEW: This restaurant is awesome! Compared to many other Vietnamese places I have been, this is one of my favorite, and I go there atleast 2-3 times a week for lunch; They dont have very many staff to serve, which may slow things down a bit, but they make up with the food! Very nice people and food is awesome!

MY REVIEW: Just wanted to make a little comment from Bruce R's comment. I think Pho Hoang across the street from P*ho21 is the one located on Bay Area Blvd. This Pho Hoang is on Nasa Road 1. Both of these restaurants used to have the same owner but not anymore. I have gone to this place for the past 3 years and it have been getting greater and greater on food, services, dining, and everything... I have always left this place with great satisfaction and planned for next trip back.

MY REVIEW: All good. Has gotten more expensive since I first went there, but as that was years ago, this is understandable. Grilled meat on vermicelli makes for a great lunch!

MY REVIEW: With regard to Henry W.'s complimentary comments, I was not aware the restaurant also had a "dinning room"....is this where they serve large loud families?? And don't be afraid to ask them to make you the fried tofu spring rolls!

MY REVIEW: Pho Hoang is one of our family's favorite restaurant in the Clear Lake area. My family eat there or carry out about twice a week. During lunch and dinner, the place are packed with people. The restaurant was recently decorated to have a "warm" feeling of the dinning room. The service are great! There are wide variety of excellent and healthy food selections beside "Pho". The services are great. The prices in the restaurant's menu are considered very low compared to many other fast food restaurants in the area.

MY REVIEW: Going downhill fast. They have a new menu, which pretty much means they raised their prices. On my last visit -- which will be my *last* visit -- the portions were small and the meat was bland.

In summary: prices have gone up, quality has gone down. There is no reason to eat here epecially since Pho 2*1 is across the street.

MY REVIEW: I love this restaurant. I really thought I could go to any Vietanamese restaurant and recieve the same kind of quality but I was wrong. Everyone is friendly and the food is consistantly good.
