Cafe on the Lake - Omni Houston Westside

MY REVIEW: My son and I had a reservation for seating "by the lake" for Thanksgiving Day. Instead, we were seated at a small table hidden in a corner between a large potted plant, a television hung on the wall, and a table used by the staff to stack used dishes. When I asked for a better table, the response was that this was the only available seating other than another nearby equally dismal table. Not wanting to ruin my son's Thanksgiving, we took the table. The dining was noisy and the food was average. The meal was a package, based on a price per person. I was surprised to see that they had included the tip on top of the package price when the bill was presented. I will never return to this restaurant.

MY REVIEW: Well I will trying saying the postive things first. The Restaurent was clean, table was nicely set.

The service was very poor. Lenghty waits for small request. Had to send dinner back as steak was not done correctly. Then the bake pototoe I ordered was put under a heat lamp, so the sour cream was hot when the plate was returned to me.

We even had breakfast the next day, in our room, and it was cold.
