MY REVIEW: My husband and I love this place. We probably eat here at least once a month. I get the gyro sandwich w/ the greek salad. The sandwich comes with cucumber sauce and I just can't get enough. The pita bread is so soft and fresh. The hummus is very garlicy and made on site. It is 10x better than the fresh hummus you can get at Cntrl Mrkt. In fact, I stopped buying it there because it just couldn't compare. Also the Sulvaki (kabobs) is really great too. Everything is of the highest quality. In fact the owner only uses olive oil in his dishes.

The restaurant is family owned. Occasionally you will see the owner (a big Greek guy with lots of gold rings) behind the counter. And if he's not there, you will meet his daughter. You can tell the family really takes pride in the establishment. This restaurant is top notch quality food and the price isn't bad either... about $20 for 2 people.

MY REVIEW: The food at this restaurant is wonderful but I don't go as much as I'd like because some days I just don't want to have to deal with the owner! On a recent visit he embarassed someone in our crowd because her credit card would not run correctly. She asked him to run it again and he said it would cost him money to run the card. She insisted and the card went through correctly so the problem was his machine, not her card. This caused embarassment which could have been avoided. If the owner would "back off" of the customers a bit, I think that this could be a very successful little restaurant that I know that I would stop at more often. One thing I do know, if he has this little tolerance for adults, I will never go there with children.

MY REVIEW: The food is great and the service is wonderful, including the owner. Previous reviews stated the owner was rude; however, every time I have been in the restaurant he has been very pleasant and courteous. I am a female and have eaten in the restaurant alone before and have not been assigned a seat. I encourage people to give this restaurant a try. You'll be glad you did!!

MY REVIEW: Been 3 times this month to try different menu items. Very good Greek food. My favorites so far are babacanoush, hummus, cabbage rolls, pita bread, greek salad, roasted potatoes and green beans. Each time has been mid-afternoon, so place was not busy. Owner was not stressed (see previous reviews), but I can see where you might want to avoid him during the noon rush.

MY REVIEW: I've been eating here for over 4 years and go about 2 or 3 times a month. I ONLY return for the food. The owner can be very psycho at times, a bit like an untreated bipolar patient, in my layman's opinion. He gets very frustrated at lunch time and often treats customers rudely. Reminds a bit of the "soup Nazi" on Seinfeld! If the food weren't so darned good, I would quit going there altogeher. The owner also discriminates against single women customers. At lunch time he will ask me if I'm dining alone. Since I am a single woman needing a table for one, he always demands that I take a certain table for one which is situated just by the front door. One day he took my order and commanded me to have seat at that table for one by the door. I turned to see another lone female patron sitting there eating. I told the owner that the table was occupied. He told me to go over there anyway and tell that woman that I was the next customer to have that table. I protested taking any such action and said that would be rude and inappropriate and that I refused to do this. I then told him that I would dine outside at one of the sidewalk tables. He seemed satisfied with that option. He is a control freak of the highest magnitude. But the food is good, if you can endure the social pressure of dining there, especially if you're a lone female diner. The best time to go is during the non-peak hours when the owner is in a more relaxed mood. The peak meal rushes seem to bring out his worst character defects!

MY REVIEW: The food is very good BUT I will never ever go back again. I live and work in the area and have visited the restaurant several times. Normally the owner is rude but not to the limit of what happened today. I went in to pick 5 orders for lunch for my colleagues and me. Well, we told the owner that everyone is paying for themselves. When I got there to pick up the order I was told, "If we start splitting the bill we will be here all night!" then he rolled his eyes. AND THIS IS COMING FROM THE OWNER!! Wonderful customer service!!! Then he started to take money for each transaction and literally threw each receipt towards me!! In the meantime another one of his customers asked for another Greek coffee and the again the owner said, " You want another one?! you said you just want one!" and at this point this customer is embarrassed!!

The food is very good but the owner needs to learn how to treat his customers. Neither myself not my colleagues are going to go back to this restaurant because of the owner.

MY REVIEW: The food is great. Wait Staff is very nice, but the owner definitely needs to work on his social skills. He is very rude to his wait staff, kitchen help and also to his customers. He is very very rude! I have known several people who don't want to go back because of his rude attitude. He might be able to keep his customers if he wasn't so obnoxious!

MY REVIEW: This is a great little restaurant. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but offers a comfortable, clean and a welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff is helpful and its kid friendly. Moreover, the food is GREAT! What ever you get, you have to try the potatoes - they are fabulous! A great place to check out.

MY REVIEW: love the place and this time, took friends with me to enjoy. With a party of six, some of the salads were delivered to the wrong side of the table but nobody noticed until the owner came pushing chairs and pointing fingers at whoever ate the salad the belong to the other person. We are all friends, how cares! Well, the owner did. He even brought the calculator out to tell missing salad person how much $$$ other people owe her. Will be back for the food, but will not take friends there EVER AGAIN!!!!

MY REVIEW: This place is good. It's not the best Greek food I've ever had, but it may be the second best. The products they sell on their shop wall are good too. I keep meaning to get back, but I live 30 miles away, so it's hard.

MY REVIEW: One of those restaurants where you get hooked on a certain dish or two (mine is the salmon and chicken gyro) and can't stay away. The rice is excellent, as are the fries. The owner is a little intimidating and complains about he can't find good help, but he is very particular and clean. This is my 5-year-old son's favorite restaurant. We eat there at least once a week.

MY REVIEW: Great Greek food - we tried the Saturday special, the gyros and a salad - everything was wonderful. The owner, Chris, and his staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will certainly return often, even though it is more than 50 miles from home.
