MY REVIEW: Chicken breasts is what I asked for. Something more like hummingbird breasts is what I got. They must have "specialists" out there some place whose job it is to see how small a chicken breast can be cut and still be able to legally call what's left a "chicken breast". RIP-OFF is what we call their chicken breasts and the rest of those "specialty cuts". Never again will I go to any Churches. What they do is take fleecing a customer to an even finer craft.

MY REVIEW: The Chimney Rock location is my favorite place for chicken wings ... not the small things served at those wings places but the BIG ones fried only the way Church's knows how to do. They are cut just right to balance the right mix of white and dark meat in one large piece. I have tried and tried to duplicate their batter but can never come anywhere close to it.

Today I stopped in for a wing but just as I was placing my order I noticed a blackboard that said "Manager's Special 8 livers and a biscuit for $1.99". I decided to gamble and try them. They took a few minutes since they were cooked to order but definitely well worth the few minutes wait. The woman who prepared them even asked me how they were. I must say they were better than the livers served by other chicken places. Rather than being served lukewarm or cold and dried out, these at Church's were very hot with just the right amount of moisture and crispy batter. Now I have two favorites to pick from at Church's.
